HISTORIC: Trump First-Ever Sitting President Ever To Personally Address March For Life (Video)
- ‘They’re coming after me because I’m fighting for you’.
After a decades-long tradition of the March For Life rocking up to DC to have their voice — and the voices of those who cannot speak for themselves — heard by their elected officials, this year was different.
Very different.
The President himself stood up and mingled his own voice with that of the multitude claiming that these littlest lives are worth defending.
His attendance did not go unnoticed:
It’s great that Trump is speaking at the March For Life. It’s amazing that the Republican presidents before him hid in the White House and refused to come out and acknowledge the thousands of pro-lifers right outside their door. Shameful cowardice.

Ouch.
That’s a direct shot at a ‘conservative’ political dynasty that was too ‘morally pure’ to support Trump. So where, exactly, was the courage of those convictions when it mattered to the lives of the unborn?
Trump stood up and publicly acknowledged the value of the unborn, the contribution of those who fight, and the right of every child, born and unborn, to fulfill their God-given potential.
Nor is this is the President’s first act in defense of the lives of those not yet born.
He and Pence have participated in the prior two March For Life events.
He has invoked the inherent value of lives yet born in his State of the Union and other public speeches. He has backed policies in favor of the defense of that life.
