WATCH: Senate Minority Leader Says That Joe Biden’s Denial Is ‘Sufficient’ To Move On From Tara Reade’s Accusation

Gee, where have we heard the idea that we need to “move on” from a sexual assault allegation before?

Oh, right! MoveOn.org! The 7 million-member progressive policy organization that was founded in response to Bill Clinton’s impeachment. It urged the public to “move on” from the fact that ol’ Billy-boy had used Monica Lewinsky as a humidor in the Oval Office, along with committing other sexual acts with the then 20-something White House intern.

Now, the smarmy Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer(D-NY) is saying that Joe Biden’s denial is sufficient and that he’ll be a “great candidate” and a “great president.”

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday said that he believes that former Vice President Joe Biden‘s explanation of a sexual assault allegation from a former staffer is “sufficient.”

“I’ve heard Joe Biden’s explanation. I think it’s sufficient. I think he will be a great candidate. I think he will be a great President and I think he’ll help us take back the Senate,” Schumer told reporters during a press conference.

Schumer’s remarks appear to be the first time he’s weighed in on the allegation from Tara Reade, who has alleged that Biden sexually assaulted her when she worked in his Senate office in 1993.

But that doesn’t exactly jive with his previous stance with the much less credible accusations lobbed at then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in 2018. Sen. Schumer had called for Kavanaugh to withdraw over the Christine Blasey Ford allegation and submit to an extensive FBI investigation beyond what he had already been subjected to.

Schumer was one of a number of Democrats who called for Kavanaugh to withdraw over allegations made by Christine Blasey Ford about an alleged assault at a high school party, or for him to submit to a lengthy new investigation by the FBI. There eventually was an FBI investigation, but Democrats complained that it wasn’t detailed enough and all but one Democrat would vote against Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

On an appearance on “The View” in September 2018, he called Blasey Ford’s claims “extremely credible.”

“I think the allegations of Professor Ford are extremely credible,” he said. “She took a lie detector test. She talked [about] this to her therapist. They were having family counseling in part because of what happened to her five years ago and told all the details. And third, to come out and say something like this puts you and your family through incredible scrutiny. People throw brick bats at you and everything else.

“She didn’t do it on a whim. I don’t think she did it for political reasons. She has a great deal of credibility,” he said.

As an aside, have you noticed how much Senator Schumer is looking like the crypt keeper these days? It must be a result of the blatant corruption of his soul seeping out through his pores.

Back on May 3, RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel was on ABC’s This Week with Martha Raddatz and said that regarding Tara Reade’s sexual assault accusation against Joe Biden, the left went “from Me Too, Me Too, Me Too, to Move On, Move On, Move On in a nanosecond because he’s a Democrat.” It only got better from there.

McDaniel is right–the Democrats’ and the Media’s sudden discovery of Due Process and the presumption of innocence is both rapid and stunning.

But they’re one-trick ponies, and we shouldn’t expect anything less.
