WATCH: UFC Champ Jon ‘Bones’ Jones Takes Spray Cans Away From Protesters

The light heavyweight fighter has had it with “protesters” destroying his community and he took action.

Jon “Bones” Jones is certainly making headlines this week.

There is some speculation about whether or not the 32-year old with a 26-1-0 record will leave the sport.

UFC president Dana White says it’s up to light-heavyweight champion Jon (Bones) Jones whether he wants to walk away from the sport.

Jones, rated the top pound-for-pound fighter on the UFC roster, told his 2.3 million Twitter followers Sunday that he is giving up his title over a pay dispute with the UFC.

On Monday, White weighed in with a brief statement.

“Jon Jones is one of the greatest to ever do it,” said White. “The decision he wants to make regarding his career is up to him. The reality is that he’s made enough money from fighting that he’s now in the position to retire and never work again in his life.”

With that question still hanging, Jones is doing some great stuff in his community.

Over the weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, UFC’s Jon Jones confronted a couple of punks with spray cans looking to destroy property during protests over the weekend. He went up to one teen and asked him to hand over his spray can, then confronted another and did the same. Those teens knew better than to say no.

He posted the video of the confrontations on Instagram with the caption, “Is this shit even about George Floyd anymore?!? Why the fuck are you punk ass teenagers destroying our cities!?? ?? As a young black man trust me I’m frustrated as well but this is not the way, we are starting to make a bad situation worse. If you really got love for your city (505), protect your shit. All you old heads need to speak up, call your young family members and tell them to come home tonight.”

LANGUAGE WARNING:

But that wasn’t the end of it.

Jones is out there in the community that he loves and helping businesses rebuild after the damage from the riots.

He’s put the call out for men to come out and help him.

He wrote, “Lots of work to do out in the streets today men. If you’re a real one, call your boys and get to work. #merica ?????? #Ziastrong.”

Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Jones is considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound MMA fighter, maybe that’s the case. But there’s one thing that’s clear, his actions in his community shows that he’s a guy willing to get in there and help out small businesses in his community when it’s needed.

Although some consider Jones a controversial figure–we’ve gotta give credit where it’s due, and he’s pound-for-pound a good guy in my books in this particular instance.

This is a man doing what men should do.

Which reminds me…

Don’t miss Doug’s latest book!

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive

Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
