Harvard Grad Who Said She’d ‘Stab’ Anyone Who Said ‘All Lives Matter’ Just Got Some BAD News
Her 15 minutes of fame didn’t exactly work out the way that she intended.
A couple of days ago, Claira Janover, a Harvard grad who teaches part-time at Princeton posted a video on TikTok in support of Black Lives Matter. In the short video, Janover said that if someone had the “caucasity”–apparently her term for white audacity–to say “All Lives Matter” she would stab them. She added that as she watched the person bleed out, she’d show them a paper cut and say, “my cut matters, too.”
Clearly, this young woman has been brainwashed by higher education. She’s bought into the idea that white=bad and is using a racialized term to undercut the message that was promoted by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Unsurprisingly, some big-name conservative accounts shared Janover’s video as an example of a threat against those who aren’t willing to toe the overtly racist, Marxist BLM line.
Charlie Kirk of Turning Point U.S.A. called it a threat of “political violence.”
Will @Harvard do anything about this student threatening to stab anyone on campus who says “all lives matter?”
Do they condone political violence?
RT so they can’t ignore!

In our current climate, you can say whatever you want about conservatives and people who say “All Lives Matter” or “Blue Lives Matter.” That’s all perfectly acceptable, apparently.
Once the video started to spread, Janover insisted that she meant it as an analogy, not as an actual threat. This is likely true. I personally don’t believe that Janover would actually stab someone, and was just posting some edgy content to get noticed. Well, it worked.
She claims that she has received rape and death threats over her post–which is a little ironic, really, since she was threatening to stab people–and has deleted the video. Threats of violence that Janover claims to have received are never ok, and are just as wrong as her stupid video. As your mother always told you, “two wrongs don’t make a right.”
What Janover didn’t expect was that cancel culture isn’t just going for the Trump supporters, conservatives, and the “religious right” anymore.
In a new set of TikTok videos, Janover claims that she’s lost her job at Deloitte, a prestigious accounting firm based in the U.K., over the video. She then blames “racist Trump supporters” for going after her job, but vows to not back down on her support of BLM.
“Trump supporters took my job away from me,” she said in another new video posted Wednesday. “I have gotten death threats, rape threats, violent threats. It was OK, but now my future’s entirely compromised because Trump supporters have decided to come for my life.”
Through tears, a defiant Janover vowed not to back down.
“I’m too strong for you. I’m too strong for any of you ‘All Lives Matter,’ racist Trump supporters,” she said. “It sucks. But it doesn’t suck as much as systemic racism. And I’m not going to stop using my platform to advocate for it.”

@cjanoverYour scare tactics won’t work on me. always and forever, ##blacklivesmatter♬ original sound – cjanover
Unreal. She takes zero responsibility for her own actions.
Really, all she did was threaten to stab people who disagreed with her and watch them bleed out…what’s the problem with that aside from every single thing?
You mean, companies may not want a rabid Social Justice Warrior who is willing to make threats of violence like this for saying words that she disagrees with? Huh. Who knew?
Should she have lost her job over a stupid TikTok video? No, she shouldn’t have. That’s also stupid.
Janover took a shot at Deloitte saying that they made a mistake for not fighting for her.
Through tears, Janover said, “I’m sorry, Deloitte, that you can’t see that. That you were cowardice [sic] enough to fight somebody who’s going to make an indelible change in the world and is going to have an impact.”
@cjanover##deloitte I am on the right side of history. ##blacklivesmatter♬ original sound – cjanover
We really need to stop “canceling” people and destroying their lives over stupid things that they do online. At the same time, people need to stop posting stupid things online.
I don’t have a lot of sympathy for Janover simply because she had no problem posting the video in the first place. For years we’ve been telling people–especially young women–that what you put on the internet stays there forever and can come back to haunt you. She posted, it destroyed her future. It’s not the fault of some fictional “racist Trump supporters” it’s the fault of the person who said the things on the viral video, and that is none other than Claira Janover.
Now that she has experienced “cancel culture” first-hand, perhaps she can learn a lesson from it. That seems pretty unlikely considering the content of her subsequent snot-filled, tearful-yet-defiant videos, but one can hope.
Frankly, I’m gonna chalk this whole thing up to “play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”
When the left finally decides to drop the torches and pitchforks, then I’ll do the same. Until then, I refuse to unilaterally disarm.
