Is this kind of thing coming soon to a town near you?
We still don’t know what exactly happened with Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. There is an investigation underway.
The problem is that the waters have already been muddied. The shooting has been declared by the public, members of the media, and the Democratic nominee as “another example of systemic racism.” This means that the officers involved have already been judged in the court of public opinion because the video has gone viral.
But with all of these incidents, we don’t know the entire situation, we’re just seeing a snapshot of what happened.
We are always told that unless we are one, we don’t know what it’s like to live as a black man in America. That’s true. The same could be said for police officers.
Jacob Blake has apparently been paralyzed, and that’s tragic–truly.
But the facts of the case aren’t as cut-and-dry as the left wants it to be. Blake had an open warrant out on him for sexual assault, trespassing, and disorderly conduct related to a domestic abuse incident, witnesses said that they heard police tell him to drop a knife he was allegedly holding, and there is a video with a new angle showing him fighting with police behind the car before he walked away to open the driver’s side door.
Those are some pretty damning details.
Does that mean that he should have been shot 8 times in the back in front of three of his children and left paralyzed? Maybe not, but if he was reaching for a gun in that car after being aggressive with police, perhaps the shooting would be deemed justified. We just don’t know yet.
It’s easy to pick one side or the other for emotional reasons, but that’s not how justice is supposed to work.
Yet, we have a whole bunch of people in Kenosha burning down property, destroying black-owned businesses, rioting in the streets, and bullying other people who don’t join in with the “protests.”
It’s now a thing to start harassing people dining at restaurant patios for not raising their fists as they walk by.

Is this the America that the left wants?
Conform or be vilified as a racist for not making a snap judgment on a police shooting when all of the facts haven’t been released yet?
The media is no better. They’ve been pushing this “America is racist” nonsense for years.
They’ve learned nothing from the Covington Kids story or even from Jussie Smollett. They just want you to sign on to their agenda and they’ll do anything to make you do that, including calling you racist for pushing back on socialism.
