HERO COPS: U.S. Marshals Rescue 25 MORE Missing Children–One Quarter Had Been Trafficked For Sex
U.S. Marshals have been conducting operations in cooperation with state and local law enforcement to rescue missing and endangered children. The operations have been very successful.
On Saturday, ClashDaily reported that 39 missing children had been rescued in “Operation Not Forgotten” in Georgia.
They’ve done something similar in Northeast Ohio with “Operation Safety Net.”
Over the course of 20 days, 25 missing children between the ages of 13 and 18 have been rescued from Cleveland, East Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield, Euclid, Willoughby, and as far away as Miami.
They had success in the very first week of the operation.

Of these cases of missing children, about one fourth of them are confirmed to be related to human trafficking or prostitution.
The U.S. Marshals Service has been working with its state and local partners over the past 20 days to find missing children. United States Marshal Pete Elliott, Police Chief Calvin Williams, Sheriff David Schilling, East Cleveland Police Chief Scott Gardner, and Newburgh Heights Police Chief John Majoy made the joint announcement about the recovered children in a release sent out on Thursday.
US Marshals and their local partners say they will continue to work over the next several weeks to bring more children to safety and return them to safe places.

The Christian Post reported that the problem of missing children is huge, and that these kids, most of whom are runaways, are frequently sexually exploited.
In 2019, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported more than 421,000 missing children to the FBI. That year, the USMS helped recover 295 missing children based on requests for assistance from law enforcement and contributed to the recovery of a missing child in 75 percent of cases received, the agency said.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, child sex trafficking is a problem at-risk American children are currently facing as they are recruited and exploited for commercial sex. Pimps and traffickers, said the agency, sexually exploit children through street prostitution and in adult night clubs, illegal brothels, sex parties, motel rooms, hotel rooms, and other locations throughout the U.S.
Many of these children are usually homeless, runaway or throwaway youth who often come from low income families.
“This population is seen as an easy target by pimps because the children are generally vulnerable, without dependable guardians, and suffer from low self-esteem. Victims of the prostitution of children, however, come from all backgrounds in terms of class, race, and geography,” the DOJ explained.

As the left’s war on law enforcement continues apace, remember that it’ll be child sex trafficking, rape, domestic abuse, drug trafficking, and violent crime that will continue to happen if we abolish the police.
We need to defend the police, not defund them.
Anyone saying otherwise is just enabling the worst of society to prey on the rest of society.
That “thin blue line” is there for a reason. Those of us who recognize that should continue to back the blue.
