ROBESPIERRE EFFECT: Cancel Culture Pays A Visit To Ultra-Woke Ellen Degeneres

The left is now being hunted by a monster they themselves created.

‘Cancel culture’ is as potent a weapon for bullying companies into compliance as broken windows, Molotov Cocktails, and Dynamite ever were when shock troops for historical despotic movements were in their time.

It is normally used as a tool to force companies to accept and adopt left-of-center causes, whether they like them or not.

But more and more frequently, the left is finding out their monster is by no means a tame beast. It’s a little like having Godzilla wander through your city… you’re never quite sure what destruction it will leave in its wake.

This time, Elen Degeneres got caught in their crosshairs. In a big way.

It was bad enough that rumors of Ellen quitting and the show itself being kicked to the curb were swirling around the internet.

Stories about her less-than-sterling personality were only part of the problem.

Said one bodyguard:

“I’m holding their hands and walking them through individuals and large groups of people. Ellen is the one person that I’ve been assigned to — and I’ve been assigned to quite a few celebrities — that has never taken the time to say hi to me,” Majercak claimed.

“It started going negatively when she introduced me to Ellen and Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn’t even say ‘hello,’ or ‘thank you for protecting my mother, my wife and me,'” Majercak continued.

The bodyguard concluded that DeGeneres was “very cold.” A representative for DeGeneres did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment at the time. —FoxNews

Hedda Muskat claimed in an interview that she had ‘never been around such a toxic host’ as Ellen. She’s not even interested in an apology.

Specifically named in the interview was producer Ed Glavin. Muskat contends that Glavin was a contributor to the negative work environment, and brought up an instance in which he flipped out on an employee to a point where his face got red. She said that after the incident the crew was “stunned” by the blow-up, and that Ellen was “the only one giggling.” She then claims Ellen stated, “Well, I guess every production needs their dog.” Muskat said she viewed the incident as a precursor of things to come.

“And from then we knew,” she said. “Ed was going to be the barking dog — her dog. You could just see everybody’s faces go stiff. We’re professionals; we’re adults. We don’t need a dog to get us to do our jobs.”

Glavin has also been accused of sexual harassment and “being handsy with women.” The Hollywood Reporter added that he’s likely to leave the show. —Complex

But wait, there’s more!

In a second expose by [Buzzfeed], more people spoke out, bringing the total to 47.

Top producers, Kevin Leman, Jonathan Norman and Ed Glavin were implicated in sexual misconduct allegations. A former employee said Leman asked if he could perform sex acts on him during a company party in 2013. Another said they allegedly saw him grab a production assistant’s penis.

Scores of other employees accused Glavin of touching them inappropriately. Others said he had a reputation of being “handsy with women”. They said Glavin made them uncomfortable in the show’s control room but they did not speak out because they feared that they risked getting fired.

A former employee accused Norman of “grooming him” by taking him to concerts before attempting to perform oral sex on him. –WebTopNews
