The Media(D) Says Trump Wants His Image To Be Added To Mount Rushmore–POTUS Says It’s ‘Fake News’

Trump is back on his game trolling the media, and it’s hilarious!

President Trump has been making the Media(D) go mental since he descended that escalator and said that he was running for President as a Republican. They’ve exposed themselves as the absolute partisan hacks that they are and they continue to beclown themselves to this day.

From The Daily Mail:

Trump first raised the prospect of having his face carved on the historic site soon after he took office, in January 2017.

Kristi Noem, who at the time was a Congresswoman representing South Dakota, said he mentioned the idea during that first meeting.

‘He said: “Kristi, come on over here. Shake my hand,”‘ Noem recalled.

‘I shook his hand, and I said: “Mr President, you should come to South Dakota sometime. We have Mount Rushmore.”

‘And he goes: “Do you know it’s my dream to have my face on Mount Rushmore?” ‘

Noem said she thought he was joking.

‘I started laughing,’ she said. ‘He wasn’t laughing, so he was totally serious.’

They report that President Trump “said it again” in Youngstown, Ohio at a rally in July 2017.

But you see the Media(D) doesn’t comprehend a sense of humor, so they take every single word that he says literally…except when he isn’t joking.

Take, for example, that incredible speech that the President made on July 3 of this year standing just underneath the majestic Mount Rushmore. They called that speech “dark, divisive, and racist.” It was anything but those things.

The whole speech is just incredible and should be watched over and over again. This speech encapsulates President Trump’s MAGA doctrine and was the best speech that he has ever given.

On Sunday night, President Trump posted a photo of himself and the great monument featuring four great presidents.

CNN went full CNN by repeating the ramblings of birdcage liner, The New York Times that was speculating that South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem might replace Vice President Mike Pence on the Republican ticket in November.

This included the above anecdote of Governor Noem’s meeting with President Trump as reported by the Daily Mail.

But then President Trump weighed in on Twitter, calling it all fake news and then said, considering his accomplishments…maybe it’s a good idea after all.

What both the New York Times and CNN failed to report is that for decades people have wanted to add presidents to Mount Rushmore–Franklin Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan have all been suggestions. There are currently several petitions to add Obama to Mount Rushmore–a suggestion that CNN’s Don Lemon has made because putting “the first black president front-and-center” would repair race relations in the country. Weird. I thought that leftists thought that statues and monuments were bad.

Unfortunately, it appears that we’re Mout Rushmore isn’t adding any president anytime soon.

‘When you are looking on the sculpture, it appears there might be some space on the left next to Washington or right next to Lincoln.

‘You are either looking at the rock that is beyond the sculpture (on the right), which is an optical illusion, or on the left, that is not carvable.’

Mount Rushmore was started in 1927, and never completed. Work ended with the death of sculptor Gutzon Borglum in 1941.

And yet, if you can imagine Trump’s signature hair carved into Mt. Rushmore, you’re not alone…

If you start to add up Trump’s accomplishments — economic, domestic freedoms, foreign policy and more — the question of whether he will be remembered as one of the truly great presidents is becoming less of a wry joke and more of a serious consideration.
