Trump Administration Heading To Court Over Mail In Ballots — Here’s The 411

After a late-night legal decision authorizing general-use mail-in ballots, Trump is concerned that one swing State’s voting will be thrown into turmoil.

Is THIS the real reason Biden has secured for himself 600 lawyers to stand by during the elections? Are they planning to win in courts, rather than the ballot box?

Trump has vowed to challenge this decision in the courts.

Nevada is considered a battleground state. The Silver State, which has 6 electoral votes out of the 270 required to elect the president, was hotly contested in 2016. In that year’s presidential election, Democrat Hillary Clinton won 47.9 percent of the popular vote in the state, besting Republican Donald Trump who won 45.4 percent, Ballotpedia reports. The last time a Republican carried the state was 2004.

“In an illegal late-night coup, Nevada’s clubhouse Governor made it impossible for Republicans to win the state,” President Trump tweeted at 7:37 a.m. on Aug. 3.

“Post Office could never handle the Traffic of Mail-In Votes without preparation. Using Covid to steal the state. See you in Court!” — Epoch Times

This is the tweet in question, which, you will note, happens to retweet the GOP chair in the process:

Trump’s objection, clarified at a Press release Tuesday afternoon, is that it takes years to properly prepare a mail system for handling that kind of volume within acceptable parameters of time and accuracy.
