Hate Slithers Through Dems

The Democrat party, at one time, was called the party of “the working man.” They claimed, historically, to stand up for the little guy and represent his welfare against the greed of corporations and businesses. Forty years ago, or when Joe Biden had been in public life for seven years, there were plenty of pro-life Democrats. It was not uncommon to find pro-America Democrats and Republicans. Basic, bedrock Judeo-Christian values were espoused by people in both major parties.

“This isn’t your daddy’s Democrat party” is appropriate for today’s Dems. The Democrats have morphed into a far-left, anti-traditional values, anti-Christian party that seeks to radically alter the United States of America. They are motivated by hate and unleashing a tide of anger, violence, and bitterness.

The attacks on Judge Amy Coney Barrett are despicable. Heritage.org notes two of them.

Dana Houle, a self-described political consultant to Democrats, suggested in tweets that perhaps Barrett and her husband illegally adopted two of their children from Haiti.

John Lee Brougher, the managing director of NextGen America, a progressive political action committee, when he said (in a now-deleted or hidden tweet) “[t]ransracial adoption is fraught with trauma and potential for harm, and everything I see here is deeply concerning.”

The attacks didn’t stop with broadsides against the Barrett’s adoption of two children from Haiti. The Left has attacked her Catholic faith and her participation in People of Praise.

Heritage correctly identifies the root of these attacks.  It is, in a word, evil.

We find the Democrats’ evil most clearly in their hatred of law enforcement.  The tragic case of Breonna Taylor is agonizing. A young woman is dead who shouldn’t be.  However, the evidence in the case did not add up to murder.

Democrats know this but continue to foist lies upon the American people in order to stir up hate against law enforcement.

We see that hate on display. Police officers have been constant targets of disrespect, hate, and even violence by protestors that Biden, Harris, and the Democrats call “mostly peaceful.”

Evil is the only appropriate word to describe the hate and violence that fill the streets of many American cities. I found it fascinating that in doing research for this column, Google filtered and reordered the search. When you enter “Police and BLM violence,” you get the liberal spin of how the police are attacking BLM before anything else.  Evil seems to have many tentacles.

In the first presidential debate, Joe Biden did little to dispel that he was not a tool of the extreme left and a proponent of evil policies. He could not name one law enforcement group that endorsed him, and the truth is very few have.

Evil is a harsh word and I don’t know that individual people are evil necessarily, but the course of action the Democrats have taken is nothing short of it. At the debate, Biden declared rather loudly that he wants to see Roe v. Wade maintained. He is pro-abortion. From where I stand, it is hard to see Biden restoring America’s soul by killing her babies.  Killing babies in the womb has been and always will be evil.

Additionally, Biden and the Democrats are apparently for…

Attacking a Supreme Court nominee’s adopted children.

Attacking that same nominee’s faith.

Pursuing a relentless and baseless war on law enforcement.

Promising to blow up the institutions of our great country

Packing the Supreme Court if Barrett is confirmed.

Abolishing the Electoral College.

I cannot think of a better word to describe this than evil. So, the choice is clear on November 3rd. We have the opportunity to reject evil and send it back to where it came from. I hope we deal them a resounding defeat.
