SCOTUS: Trump Announces His EPIC New List Of Potential Appointees — Demands Biden Share His

The Scalia vacancy changed everything in 2016. As big as that was, SCOTUS appointments could play an even bigger role in 2020.

When Hillary trots out her list of all the reasons she lost to Trump, the one thing she never mentions is the Scalia vacancy.

Plenty of voters may not have been quite sure what they would get in a Trump presidency, but were won over by the fact that put forward a very solid slate of judicial candidates. We may never know exactly how big a role those ‘single-issue voters’ played in those 2016 results.

Trump reminds us, that besides the two that he nominated this term, we could potentially see anywhere between 1 and 4 new SCOTUS appointments in the next term.

Now, the President is going back to his previous well of success. Better still, he is painting Biden into a corner and defining the election in terms favorable to himself while he does it.

Not only has Trump put forward a list of Constitutional judicial nominees that will give the Democratic Socialist Squad night sweats, but he has called Biden to show us HIS list of nominees.

Why does this matter?

Simple. It forces that Sock Puppet Biden to go on the record… or admit he’s too gutless to do so. Either way, it’s win-win.

Trump said, “Joe Biden has refused to release his list, perhaps because he knows the names are so extremely far-left that they could never withstand public scrutiny or receive acceptance. He must release a list of justices for people to properly make a decision as to how they will vote.”

Here’s Trump’s list of 20 new names he’s adding to the slate he would consider for SCOTUS appointments.

-Bridget Bade
-Daniel Cameron
-Paul Clement
-Senator Tom Cotton
-Senator Ted Cruz
-Stuart Kyle Duncan
-Stephen Engel
-Noel Francisco
-Senator Josh Hawley
-James Ho
-Gregory Katsas
-Barbara Lagoa
-Christopher Landau
-Carlos Muñiz
-Martha Pacold
-Peter Phipps
-Sarah Pitlyk
-Allison Jones
-Kate Todd
-Lawrence VanDyke

Where’s Biden’s list?

He doesn’t have one. And there’s a reason for that.

Between the fractious group he is trying to cobble together of Bernie-bro Agitators, center-left Democrats, Never Trumpers, Special Interest Groups, and Independent Swing Voters, any choice he does make is sure to piss off somebody in that group.

Don’t forget, Bernie has gone on record saying the support for Bernie from the Far Left to the NeverTrumper RINOs serves only one purpose: to unseat the President. On the day after the election, (if they were to win) the real fight would begin in earnest over the soul of the Democratic party, and who gets to call the shots. A list of justices would expose the schisms within the party and could threaten that fragile unity of purpose.

Trump explicitly called out some of the real consequences of having more of these SCOTUS slots filled by activist judges from the Left.

The power center of forming laws would shift away from the Constitutionally-ordained and more importantly, accountable role of elected members operating under the powers enumerated in Article I, and shift it to an oligarchy of lifetime appointees who could capriciously write laws out of thin air, as we have seen so many times before now.
