Trump Pumps Brakes On Federal Funding Of Anti-American, Racially Inflammatory Instruction Material

It’s called ‘Critical Race Theory’ and it’s taking root everywhere.

It’s the philosophical foundation stone of every popular racially divisive theory churned out by academia into our culture.

Typical politicians, when made to confront an issue, would rather treat the symptom than the root cause. More thoughtful ones seek to apply their energies to the source.

We’ve already seen that dynamic playing out for years under Trump’s innovative solutions, relating to bogus asylum-seekers gaming the system. He incentivized Mexico to work with us rather than against us.

We’ve seen it with inner-city education disparity. Rather than throw cash at ineffective models, Trump is pushing school choice to give parents the freedom to pick the best path for their kid’s future.

Now we’re seeing that same thinking being applied toward solving the rising problem of racial animus.

Rather than bending the knee to unreasonable — and explicitly anti-American — demands to palcate and appease a movement that is now LITERALLY chanting ‘death to America’, he is going the other direction.

He is starving the outrage machine of the government dollars — and exposure — it has been feasting upon for years.

The Trump administration plans to ban training programs at government agencies that teach that the United States is inherently racist, including concepts of “white privilege” and “critical race theory.”

The announcement was made in a memorandum released late Friday by Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget.

“The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions,” the memo read.

“Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President’s directive,” he continued.

“In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on ‘critical race theory,’ ‘white privilege,’ or any training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil,” the memo read. “In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these un-American propaganda training sessions.”

The plan is sure to draw much criticism and ire from those on the left who have made white privilege and critical race theory an essential part of their political agenda. –EducationViews
