WATCH: NY Times Columnist’s Unhinged Screed On The Possibility Of Trump’s Reelection — ‘Most Frightening Moment In My Life’

It would be sad if it weren’t so hilarious.

Thomas Friedman is a three-time Pulitzer Prize winner who writes for the New York Times, the former “Newspaper of Record.”

He is now a full-on, hair-on-fire, rabid anti-Trump nutter.

If you think that I’m exaggerating, well, you didn’t hear him talking to Anderson Cooper on CNN on Thursday.

He ramped up the hysteria against the possibility of President Trump’s reelection to 11.

He called it a “six-alarm fire” and “DEFCON 5” and said that it was the prospect of a Trump second term is the “most frightening moment in my life.”

Friedman then — amazingly — ramps up the hysteria to lambast the entire GOP:

FRIEDMAN: [I]t’s terrifying because the Republican Party has become basically a political brothel that rents itself out by the night to whoever will energize its base, whether it was Sarah Palin or the Tea Party or now, Trump. This is a party that went into its convention with no platform, no platform, and basically just said whatever Trump wants, we want. And if you’re not frightened now, if you are not terrified for what could happen, it’s not we might have a disputed election. It is we are going to have a disputed election, almost certainly, unless Trump wins, in which case I shudder to think what four more years of this would be like.

Trump Derangement Syndrome™ is an awful, awful thing.

Seriously.

What the hell is he talking about?!

Trump is backed by a “state-owned network”?!

Is it PBS or NPR that has backed Trump, you absolute tool!

He’s trying to call Fox News a state-run propaganda network, but it’s pretty clear from the First Presidential debate that not everyone over at Fox is in the tank for Trump.

Three Questions That Highlight How Badly Wallace Failed As Debate Moderator

Meanwhile, the New York Times has had a secret meeting on the “correct” way to cover President Trump so that the narrative stays intact.

LEAKED: New York Times Staff Meeting Reveals The NEW Plan On How To Cover President Trump

NYT columnist, Maggie Haberman, was identified as a Clinton operative in leaked emails.

And clearly, the “Trump Taxes” story was coordinated with the Biden campaign who had an ad ready to go immediately on the day before the debate.

If you think that they just got that info and had that massive article published as soon as they received it instead of dropping a hit-piece when it could do the most damage, then I’ve got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.

The New York Times has pushed Trump-Russia collusion which now seems to have been nothing but a political hit by the Hillary campaign, and it has distracted President Trump for his entire Presidency.

The Times hasn’t apologized for that.

That’s because the introduction of digital media had the mainstream media on life support. But after the rabid left and never-Trumpers started the constant drone of hate, the anti-Trumpism has been paying off and resuscitating The Grey Lady, but not as a news organization. It’s become part of the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.

The “Newspaper of Record” is dead, and now we have a zombified version of what the New York Times used to be.

Someone even mentioned that a couple of years ago…

Indeed.
