BIG TECH CENSORSHIP: Twitter Locks New York Post Account Over Hunter Biden Bomshell

The Social Media platform has decided that it knows what is news better than a widely-read newspaper.

Twitter’s mission statement as stated in 2014 is no longer on its “About Us” section of the website. Gee, why could that be? Perhaps because it was this:

“Our mission: To give everyone the power to create and share ideas and information instantly, without barriers.”

Clearly, Twitter is erecting barriers to the sharing of information including restricting the White House Press Secretary and the New York Post.

Noah Manskar, a business reporter for the New York Post, tweeted that the newspaper’s primary Twitter account has been locked because sharing the article about Hunter Biden’s emails violates the social media platform’s policies.

Facebook and then Twitter put the kibosh on sharing the damning bombshell article. Facebook stated that it needed to be “fact-checked” while Twitter went a step further saying that the articles violated their policy on including “hacked” and personal identifying information like phone numbers and email addresses.

The suppression effort came despite presidential candidate Joe Biden’s campaign merely denying that he had anything on his “official schedules” about meeting a Ukrainian energy executive in 2015 — along with zero claims that his son’s computer had been hacked.

The Post’s primary Twitter account was locked as of 2:20 p.m. Wednesday because its articles about the messages obtained from Biden’s laptop broke the social network’s rules against “distribution of hacked material,” according to an email The Post received from Twitter.

Twitter also blocked users from sharing the link to The Post article indicating that Hunter Biden introduced Joe Biden to the Ukrainian businessman, calling the link “potentially harmful.”

“In line with our Hacked Materials Policy, as well as our approach to blocking URLs, we are taking action to block any links to or images of the material in question on Twitter,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Post in a statement.

Does this mean that Twitter is admitting that it’s a publisher and not a platform?

Well, that means that the legal protections that they get from Section 230 in the Communications Decency Act are no longer relevant, right?

If Twitter is now making decisions on what can and cannot be published on their microblogging site including news articles by a respected newspaper with a very large distribution all over America, then they can be sued for the hateful stuff that goes on every single day, right?

Conservative reporters and pundits were livid at the blatant censorship of a story that is newsworthy involving the alleged pay-to-play of the Biden family at the tail end of the 2020 Presidential campaign.

Republican lawmakers are also livid and calling for change.

We all know that Big Tech is in all-in for Joe Biden. We also know that Big Tech has taken aggressive action against conservatives in the past.

Now we have the “smoking gun” emails showing exactly what we all expected to see — the troubled son of the former Vice President was cashing in on his name and selling access to his father to enrich himself and feed his drug and prostitute habit.

But Big Tech doesn’t want you to know that.

It’s relevant — if Joe Biden becomes President of the United States, imagine the cash that Hunter could command from all over the world, and how much that could put the U.S. at risk.

Joe often says that this election is the “battle for the soul of the nation” and he’s right in a sense. It’s a battle against the Swamp and their Propagandists in the Media (D) — and now Big Tech — and We the People and the Orange Man that represents them.

Choose wisely on November 3.
