There’s no way that there’s an innocent explanation for China owning that much land in such a sensitive location.
If it’s confirmed that they did buy it, who the hell approved the sale?
China has reportedly been quietly buying up 180,000 acres of Texas ranchland.
More interesting than the interest they’ve taken on the land is where in Texas it’s located.
It’s right next to the largest training airbase for the USAF, for one thing.
It’s also right along the US-Mexico border… and has a private airfield.
Considering the significant role China has played as the point-of-origin for large shipments of fentanyl (often by way of Mexico) over the years, this does not look good.
Nor have we so quickly forgotten how China was recently thrown out of Texas due to spying.
The author of this thread will be on Maria Bartiromo’s show later today, and will likely expand on what he’s saying then.
This ranch land also sits on the US border with Mexico and boasts a 30,000 sq ft lodge and a private runway which helps the Chinese owners ferry people and cargo in and out of the border region with limited to no oversight by US authorities. This must STOP 🛑. #China #Cartels

Here’s a little more detail:
The former General SUN Guangxin, who controls Xinjiang Guanghui, amassed the land by using a US frontman from Lufkin, TX. Their narrative is that the land is to develop a wind farm (appealing to all of the US alternative energy crowd) but this plan is much more sinister. 2/6

It can also enable the Chinese military to conduct surveillance from these massive towers of the US Border with México which could aid drug mules entering into the US illegally which could be a force multiplier for the Chinese fentanyl drug highway into the US. 4/6

I believe the wind farm is non-sensical. The Devil’s River watershed doesn’t have the required wind to operate these monster turbines. Look closely at this map which shows slow average wind speeds for the entire area. SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. 5/6 pic.twitter.com/Ukr94hZiaC

CFIUS has already conditionally approved the Blue Hills Energy Project but I suggest they execute an enhanced review of the entire Chinese acquisition and plan. More bombshells on @MariaBartiromo tomorrow morning. @JohnCornyn @SenTedCruz @SecPompeo #KeepTexasOutOfChinasHands

So, is this some very sketchy stuff with an incredibly dangerous adversary?
Or is this just overblown fear-mongering?
