If you really want to know what a parent is capable of, watch how they react when their children are threatened.
Phyllis Pena demonstrated to the world just how seriously she takes any threats against her 15yo daughter.
When she came home to see a 19yo stranger peeking into her 15yo daughter’s bedroom window, she called the cops. Once they were on the scene, the police dashcam caught amazing footage of Phyllis being a badass mom.
The man took off. Pena called the police.
Lake Jackson police identified the man as Zane Hawkins, 19. Police found Jackson nearby, but he fled and then started running towards Pena, who moved in to tackle him. Her daughter helped hold him down until the police could catch up.
The video shows her daughter helped hold down the suspect as officers ran up. Pena says the police gave her a congratulatory fist bump and a suggestion for a future career.
“He was like, ‘Hey, so I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker,’” Pena said. — WAPT
