Dems And The Media Dog Pile On Cuomo . . . Tara Reade Puts Them All On BLAST

It probably seemed like a good idea at the time — using the same tactic that worked for Northam to switch from a narrative dangerous to the party (infanticide) to individualized outrage over a yearbook.

Those who have been accustomed to Media rope-a-dope tactics noticed as they tried the same tactic with Cuomo. Shift the focus away from the nursing homes to a much more manageable and mundane story about powerful man misbehaving with women.

Getting handsy with subordinates doesn’t come with a bodycount, or implicate other governors who have made similar lethal policy decisions. Suddenly, skeletons are popping out of his closet like nobody’s business.

But like all such decisions, this came with trade-offs. It required that a powerful man fall on a sword (or at least weather being at the center of a firestorm) of sexual allegations.

It doesn’t hurt Dems to throw Cuomo under the bus, he’s served his usefulness in being a stick they could club Trump with. But he’s got baggage of his own, and the knives are already out with other people anxious to step into his coveted position.

But with that firestorm comes national attention to the MeToo movement… and attention to the deafening silence the media provided with the Tara Reade allegations.

These are allegations that a Democrat no less highly-ranked than Vice President Kamala Harris herself — a former AG! — openly considered credible.

After all those parades and knit hats over that infamous Billy Bush tape with President Trump, the media never did take seriously the allegations that Joe Biden had forcibly violated a female staffer’s body with his finger.

This wasn’t as part of an affair, this was out of the blue, with him allegedly answering, when rebuffed, ‘C’mon man, I thought you liked me!’.

If we saw barrels of newspaper ink spilled over Trump saying that some women let a billionaire playboy make a move on them and touch them sexually was ‘disqualifying’, where were they on allegations that Joe Biden had committed a sexual crime? Did they learn nothing from having to sheepishly having to admit that ‘maybe they should have’ believed Juanita Broaddrick’s claims about Slick Willy Clinton?

Obviously not. Tara Reade is justifiably pissed.

The former Senate staffer was incensed over the president’s comments that Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if he’s found guilty of sexual misconduct.

“The alarming deflection and compliance of the media to allow Joe Biden to negate his own sexual misconduct is predictable but still shocking as a survivor to be so publicly erased,” Reade told Fox News Thursday.

“The trauma I experienced by Biden was very real. The fact he is calling for another official’s investigation and possible criminal sanctions for similar charges is showing the height of arrogance about never being accountable for his own.”

Earlier this week, Biden weighed in on Cuomo’s sexual misconduct scandal, saying the governor should step down if an investigation finds him guilty.

“Yes, I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted too,” Biden said. –NYPost

So, Cuomo should be prosecuted, for which accusation was Joe reacting to… reaching up someone’s blouse?

Alright, but how does groping someone under her shirt rank in seriousness compared with jamming your fingers into an unsuspecting woman’s body?

If the media are calling for Andrew Cuomo’s head, then they should also be calling for ..?

How does that sentence end? Anyone? This really isn’t rocket science here.

For Biden to wax philosophical on women being believed, and not scapegoated or victimized for coming forward while demanding an investigation takes hypocrisy to dizzying levels.

Reade came forward a year ago claiming Biden shoved her against a wall and penetrated her with his fingers in 1993.

“Joe Biden got away with sexually harassing and assaulting me in 1993 and other women have also come forward with similar complaints,” Reade told Fox News. “Joe Biden ascended to the presidency anyway.

“There will be a reckoning for Joe Biden one day for the sexual misconduct, the truth will prevail and he will not silence me.” –NYPost

Let’s not forget that Ms. Reade is a lifelong Democrat. It takes guts to put yourself out there like that, knowing the hostile Partisan Press will treat you like a threat against their Golden Boy, rather than a person whose story needs to be told, heard, and possibly believed.

Kamala’s cynical flip-flop on whether she believes Tara’s story tells you everything you need to know about the Democrats — when you are my enemy, I will amplify any damaging story against you, but when you’re my meal ticket, I will help bury them.

Kamala is not the fearless woman in this example. All sorts of rich and powerful insiders are backing her up. Tara Reade is the one, to use their words, ‘speaking truth to power’.
