Just days after the entirety of the mainstream media called for Americans to take violence against Asians more seriously, they stand silent as a murdered man’s killers get a slap on the wrist.
Basically, they’re getting away with murder. Is it because they are teens, because they are girs, or because the killers weren’t white enough to fit the ongoing America-is-racist ‘Progressive Press’ narrative?
The two teenage girls involved in that fatal carjacking in DC will not be facing adult consequences. The man they killed was not so lucky.
Two girls, ages 13 and 15, who were charged with the murder and carjacking of a Pakistani immigrant killed last month while working at his job delivering food in Washington, DC, have reportedly reached a plea deal with prosecutors.
…Last week, the teens appeared via video in DC Superior Court as their lawyer and prosecutor, Bonnie Lindemann, discussed the case with Judge Lynn Leibovitz.
According to The Washington Post, Lindemann gave no indication that her office would try to transfer the older teen’s case to adult court. Under DC law, the 13-year-old could not be prosecuted as an adult due to her age. —DailyMail
It isn’t as though there was any question as to their role in the event. The carjacking was captured on video, we all heard the crash. And then, the accused girls were inside the car at the scene.
Two National Guardsmen who were in the area removed the juvenile suspects from the overturned car and detained them until police responded to the scene and arrested them.
Anwar was eventually rushed to a hospital but could not be saved. He was ejected onto the sidewalk and sustained fatal injuries, including head trauma and broken bones.
He was described in a GoFundMe post as ‘a hard-working Pakistani immigrant who came to the United States to create a better life for him and his family’.
…’Anwar was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who always provided a smile when you needed one,’ the family said.

You remember the story, don’t you? Two teenage girls, in broad daylight, used a taser to carjack a Pakistani grandfather whose only fault was going to the wrong place at the wrong time while trying to deliver fast food to make a living.
They tried to steal his car. He (calmly) was asking bystanders to call the police, as he stood outside his own car with his foot on the brake. The girls stole the car with him hanging out of it, and promptly crashed the car at the next intersection, killing the lawful owner.
This was no crime of desperation, someone trying to ‘steal a loaf of bread’ as someone like AOC would excuse a looter. This was nothing more defensible than any other felonious I-take-what-I-want-because-I-can criminal behavior.
Because of them, and their actions, a man is dead.
Our culture has a lot to say about ‘justice’ with a very limited understanding of what that bastardized word actually means.
Our capacity for selective outrage is dizzying, and the media are among the worst offenders.
The leniency afforded to at least the older of these two girls sends a message to the wider public about the real value of human life… and whether we care nearly as much about the crime committed as we do about the complex political implications of who did what to whom?
