LMAO: ‘Woke’ U.S. Women’s Soccer Team ‘Takes A Knee’ At Olympic Opener — Loses First Game 3-0

The loss ends the American team’s 44-game win streak which had lasted two years.

After the entire 22-member team “took a knee” á la Colin Kaepernick and Black Lives Matter activists during the Olympic opening ceremonies in Tokyo, they suffered a tremendous loss in their very first game.

The team from Sweden was able to break the seemingly unstoppable juggernaut that was the U.S. Women’s Soccer team in the opening game on Wednesday, winning the match 3-0.

The U.S. team entered ranked as number 1 in the world, and Sweden was ranked number 5. Back in the 2016 Olympic quarterfinals, the Swedish team knocked out Team U.S.A. in penalty kicks.

The last time the two teams met up was back in April and ended in a 1-1 draw. It was the only game that the American team didn’t win since January 2019.

ESPN’s summary of the game was just brutal.

Remember, this is the team whose Captian is Megan Rapinoe who continues to demand that professional women’s soccer players should be paid the same as the men despite the women’s league not being anywhere near as popular as the men’s and therefore earns much less revenue.

Gee, maybe being cocky isn’t such a great plan.

If only they’d shut up and focused on their sport rather than being wokescolds they might’ve been better prepared and maybe even scored a goal or two. You know, it is their job, after all, and they want the big bucks to play it. Maybe they should put in the effort and maybe take some pride in representing their country.

Maybe that’s just asking too much of these leftist women…
