But don’t even think of suggesting that there could be any problems with sending out mass mail-in ballots. That’s a “conspiracy theory.”

Last week, Police in Torrance, California found 300 recall election ballots along with multiple driver’s licenses, credit cards in other people’s names, drugs, and a loaded handgun in possession of a felon who was passed out in a car in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven.

Approximately 300 ballots were recovered from the vehicle, which was parked in the lot of a 7-Eleven convenience store on the night of Aug. 16, according to the Torrance Police Department.

Officers also discovered a loaded firearm, methamphetamine, thousands of pieces of mail, a scale, and multiple California drivers licenses and credit cards that were in other people’s names, a police news release stated. Xanax pills were also located on the unidentified male subject, who authorities described as a felon.

He was arrested on suspicion of a number of offenses, including weapons violations, narcotics and forgery violations…

…The discovery came the same day that absentee ballots were mailed out to registered California voters for the upcoming Sept. 14 recall election of Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Authorities say that those who have had their ballots stolen will be provided new ones prior to the September 14 recall election.

Here’s the KTLA 5 report:

While this is “only” 300 ballots, that means that 300 people may have been disenfranchised if the thief hadn’t been caught.

And these were ballots found in the car of one guy who was passed out in a 7-Eleven parking lot. Clearly, this was no criminal mastermind, but he did manage to have 300 ballots in his possession.

For those who say that unsolicited mail-in ballots aren’t a problem, it would be nice if someone asked them how many ballots need to be lost, stolen, or rejected before they can admit that there might be a problem with them.

In a statement, Torrance Police said, “Investigators are trying to figure out how the election ballots ended up in the suspect’s vehicle and what their intent was in having them. This is an isolated incident and is not related to any additional thefts of election ballots.”

Wait a second… are they saying that there have been other incidents of stolen recall ballots?

Oh. Would you look at that…

Back in 2012, the New York Times warned that mail-in voting was ripe for abuse. They’ve changed their tune in recent years, but the Wayback Machine provides a reliable archive.

Comedian and Podcast host Adam Corolla posted this video last week:

And then, this is happening in some counties:

But don’t worry! The people that work for the election are professionals and they would never, ever do something unscrupulous…

Nice try, lady. We all remember the “hanging chads” in Florida in the 2000 Presidential Election and the sketchy way that that was handled… (We’re looking at you, Broward County!)

And then there’s the whole “most secure election in history” in 2020 with nearly 15 million mail-in ballots still unaccounted for according to a research brief by an election integrity law firm.

In the November 2020 general election, whose chaotic results have been vigorously disputed, almost 15 million mail-in ballots went unaccounted for, according to a good-government group that focuses on electoral integrity.

The research brief by the Indianapolis-based Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) notes that as the nation dealt last year with the CCP virus (which causes COVID-19), various U.S. states “hastily pushed traditionally in-person voters to mail ballots while, at the same time, trying to learn how to even administer such a scenario.”

There are lots of problems that mail-in ballots create:

It’s increasingly clear that mail-in voting, and especially sending out mass mail-in ballots erodes election integrity.

But good luck getting Democrats to admit that.
