On Monday, American Airlines turned around a flight and kicked off a 2-year old boy along with his mother and grandmother because he was not wearing a mask after he suffered an asthma attack.
Amanda Pendarvis, her 2-year old son Waylon, and her mother were kicked off of American Airlines Flight 1284 after the toddler was unable to wear a mask as he recovered from an asthma attack and continued to hyperventilate. The young child had never worn a mask before.
Robby Starbuck, a director and producer who is running for Congress in Tennessee posted the video on Twitter which helped the story gain traction.

Despite Pendarvis explaining the situation and showing her son’s negative COVID test, the plane was turned around before departure and police were waiting for the family at the gate.
Pendarvis posted the incident to her Instagram story calling it “the most humiliating/traumatizing experience” which she attributed to “a truly evil, power-tripping flight attendant named Carl.”
She wrote, “I was not refusing a mask, nor did I even say I wouldn’t try to keep a mask on my son. We were escorted off the plane as I was holding a mask over his little face. I genuinely don’t have words.”
Despite Pendarvis doing all that she could to comply, the flight attendant named Carl got on the intercom and announced, “I’m sorry for the delay but we are dealing with a non-compliant traveler.”
This North American obsession with masking toddlers and preschoolers is just plain weird.
As a reminder, the World Health Organization — you know, those international “Medical Experts” that we’re told to listen to — does not recommend that children under the age of 5 be required to wear masks. The website states, “Children aged 5 years and under should not be required to wear masks. This is based on the safety and overall interest of the child and the capacity to appropriately use a mask with minimal assistance.”
A Twitter user identifying herself as a friend of Pendarvis shared screenshots of Pendarvis’s Instagram story and tagged American Airlines.
To be fair, Carl was told by his masters that this behavior is acceptable. American Airlines is solely responsible.

A spokesperson for the airline confirmed in an email statement that the plane was returned to the gate prior to departure but said that it was because a passenger was “refusing to comply.” There was no mention of the toddler suffering an asthma attack.
“On Sept. 13, American Airlines flight 1284 returned to the gate prior to departure from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to deplane a party refusing to comply with crew member instructions to remain seated while on an active taxiway and to wear face coverings securely over their nose and mouth,” the airline said in a statement. “After agreeing to adhere to policies instituted for the safety of our customers and crew, all individuals were rebooked for travel on the next flight to Colorado Springs (COS).”

The only thing that covid has done to society is remove people of their compassion. Hospitals making mother’s give birth alone, children being taken, babies being kicked off flights, families turning against each other.

It’s a little late now, isn’t it? She’s been humiliated, the entire flight was turned around inconveniencing everyone, and she had to change her travel arrangements all because of a power-tripping flight attendant.
It’s especially offensive since it appears that American Airlines violated TSA guidelines that allow for the removal of masks if a passenger is having difficulty breathing and/or receiving medical treatment.

If we had a real media that informed people instead of ratcheting up the fear to 11 for clicks and views, people would realize that a toddler with a negative COVID test is just fine without a mask. It’s not like he can spread a virus that he doesn’t have, right? Frankly, it’s unlikely he’d spread it even if he did test positive for the virus. But we’ve got to keep going with this Pandemic Porn.
And let’s not forget, all the “important people” like celebrities, the wealthy, and politicians can go to the Met Gala, have lavish parties that last 3 days in Martha’s Vineyard, and can host fundraisers and the only masks will be worn by “the help.”
It’s pretty clear that an asthmatic toddler isn’t as important as AOC and her virtue signaling, or Obama and his birthday, and 80-year old Pelosi getting her hair done.
This pandemic has shown us just how much the elites think of us, and it’s pretty clear that it isn’t very much.
