YO, COVIDictators: FOIA Request Triggers Awkward CDC Admission About The Unvaccinated

It used to be that the quickest way to spin up a leftist into a tizzy was to throw cold water on their eco data. Then COVID came along and pushed Big Green into the back seat.

Now the quickest way to see them flip out is to quote a president. No, not Donald J. Trump. Think bigger. Try this quote from the left’s own beloved FDR:

They hate that somebody out there that is not cowering in Cold-War Era levels of existential fear about a virus that spreads easily but has a very high survival rate.

How bad has the contagion gotten? (The contagion of fear, not that of the virus itself.) It’s become so bad that old-school anti-authoritarian rockers have devolved into being the simpering gelded lapdogs of that Prevaricating Authoritarian Smurf, Dr. Fauci.

We’re looking at you, Gene Simmons.

Rock star Gene Simmons called those hesitant to get the COVID-19 vaccine his “enemy” and likened them to flat-earthers.”If you’re willing to walk among us unvaccinated , you are an enemy,” the 72-year-old KISS co-lead singer and bassist said Wednesday in an interview . “I don’t care about your political beliefs.” —WashingtonExaminer

There is a world of difference between justified fear and irrational fear. And a recent FOIA request tells us that many of the ‘believe the science’ people have been led down the garden path by their own lab-coat-wearing ‘experts’.

Remember all that angry finger-wagging we got every time we raised the question of natural immunity? Let’s see what our ‘trusted experts’ were not telling us:

Here’s the money quote from the CDC’s response:

That’s not the only bad news for the ‘believe the science’ crowd.

Here’s the Boston Herald citing a medical journal, ‘The Lancet’. We remind our readers that The Lancet has not exactly been friendly to news that ruffles the feathers of Fauci-followers. Famously, they even had to retract and disavow a fatally-flawed study they published that discredited HCQ.

So what is this Fauci-Friendly journal now telling us about the vaccine?

The journal reported Thursday that COVID-19 vaccines have “minimal” impact on preventing transmission of the delta strain. Delta is the COVID strain currently causing over 99% of U.S. cases.

…The groundbreaking findings in Lancet show that fully vaccinated people who came down with COVID infected others in their household at the same rate (about 25%) as unvaccinated people did (about 23%). The vaccinated had just as much viral load in their upper respiratory tract, making them just as contagious.

The British researchers also found that vaccinated people were only somewhat less likely to contract the virus (25%) compared with the unvaccinated (38%). That conflicts with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data showing the vaccinated are far less likely to contract COVID. –BostonHerald

Our readers are intelligent, and many of you like to refer back to primary sources. We’ve got you covered.

Community transmission and viral load kinetics of the SARS-CoV-2 delta (B.1.617.2) variant in vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals in the UK: a prospective, longitudinal, cohort study

The lab-coat cultists tell us to ‘believe the science’.

We’re going with the Ronaldus Magnus approach on this one…

Trust but verify.
