Davos Elites Care More About YOUR Carbon Footprint Than Their Own — Here’s Proof

Global elites have congregated in Davos, Switzerland, for the World Economic Forum’s annual week-long gathering.

This is where the über-rich, famous, and powerful rub elbows and decide how to make the world a better place by telling the “little people” how they need to live their lives. Or, that’s what they say they’re doing while they make lucrative deals between themselves and take selfies with Bono.

One of the main topics of this year’s Billionaire Circus in Davos is, of course, the “Climate Crisis.”

Canadian journalist, Andrew Lawton of True North, posted a video clip of J. Michael Evans, President of Alibaba Group, saying that there is work on the development of an “individual carbon footprint tracker” to see just how much penance you’ll need for injuring Mother Gaia.

A company based in China monitoring how much carbon you’re using based on your travel, purchases, and the food you eat — gee, what could possibly go wrong with that?

It’s not like China has been known to demand that companies hand over data to them or anything. Oh, wait… they have done that.

While some journos are saying that this “carbon footprint tracker” would simply be a tool for the environment-worshipping leftist wokerati to show off how very “green” they are by tracking their own personal carbon usage… this could easily be paired with digital currency and used in the same way as China’s social credit system that would lock you out of your bank account or only allow you to buy what you’re “carbon allotment” would allow. You decided on that second burger this month? Well, no more red meat for you! Besides, eating bugs is the “climate-friendly” option according to the WEF.

While the Davos People are all focused on your carbon footprint, it doesn’t appear that they think much of their own.

Many attendees flew to Davos on their private jets in order to discuss how to deal with the “existential threat” of climate change that will kill us all in… what is it now? The next 15 minutes or so? Back in July 2019, Prince Charles said, “I am firmly of the view that the next 18 months will decide our ability to keep climate change to survivable levels and to restore nature to the equilibrium we need for our survival.”

Well, it’s been more than 18 months… Did we make it or nah? That depends — do we include China’s carbon footprint in the calculation?

Even if you believe that reducing greenhouse gases will change the climate, it’s pointless to continue to kneecap industry and increase costs needlessly for their population in order to meet some nonsensical climate target if China, the largest emitter of greenhouse gases, continues to get a free pass to do whatever the hell they want.

For the past few years, the World Economic Forum has been pushing net-zero carbon emissions.

But it’s all a bunch of bunk.

Climate protesters (with an Antifa flag) gathered outside of the WEF annual meeting are calling it a “corporate Disneyland” and that the rich and powerful that came in via their private jets are just hypocrites.

Intrepid journalist Andrew Lawton spoke to some of the protesters.

But if you don’t believe the Antifa-flag-waving climate activists, check out the reaction when a couple of the highfalutin top-tier elites in Davos are asked about the carbon footprint of the week-long in-person event.

United Nations’ Special Envoy for Climate Action, Mark Carney, was asked By Rebel News Australia’s Avi Yemini about the massive hypocrisy of global elites jetting off from hither and yon to congregate in Davos for a week to talk about the “existential threat” of climate change.

Oh, Carney wouldn’t respond? Shocker. He doesn’t really like answering inconvenient questions directly. Last year, Carney was trying to doge a question by the current Conservative leadership front-runner, Pierre Poilievre, about opposing pipelines in his home country of Canada while Brookfield Asset Management, the investment company where he sits as Vice-Chair, holds investments in pipelines all over the world. Typical behavior of a Davos elitist. His company is making money on oil and gas while Canadians in the energy sector are losing their jobs and Canadians just trying to make ends meet are suffering needlessly from high prices.

Lawton’s reporting on what’s going on in Davos has been fantastic. You can see he had tried to nab an interview with Carney just before Yemini caught up with him. Lawton managed to snag the WEF’s head of climate and ask about the carbon footprint of the gathering.

Pushing net-zero carbon as a major agenda item when your conference has a massive carbon footprint and a number of the attendees have flown in on their private jets is kinda awkward.

Lawton also posted a video of an amazing moment where only 4 people in the packed room who are allegedly committed to “saving the world” from the “climate crisis” caused by fossil fuels said that they owned an electric car.

It’s so urgent that they fly on private jets and don’t own electric cars.

But they want you to stop using your car and stop flying on commercial airlines to “save the planet.”

It’s because they think they’re better than you.

We call it hypocrisy, but really — it’s hierarchy.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
