Remember when ‘consenting adults’ was the magical phrase that signaled the end of an argument? You might not agree with what person X wanted to do, but they were free to do it?

Since basically winning THAT argument, the left has tried hard to expand on their win.

They have been pushing for the age at which that magical phrase kicks in to go ever lower. Sex. Abortion. Voting. All of it. They would have us believe that children — toddlers, even — are competent and wise enough to make decisions that will drastically change the course of their lives forever.

Don’t bother trying to reconcile this line of argument to their other claims that criminals are not culpable for their own decisions. These positions are driven by emotion, not by principle.

At the very same time that Biden’s administration is trying to frogmarch every medical institution in all 50 states into unflinching obedience to his party’s newfound philosophy on gender, the FDA is sounding an alarm on dangerous side effects of the very practices Biden has been so aggressively pushing.

Puberty blockers for minors are dangerous.

This isn’t a right-of-center politics and current events website saying so. It’s the guidance of the FDA.

Remember the FDA?

They were the original ‘believe the science’ people.

Puberty blockers, known as gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) substances, received a warning from U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials earlier this month, saying the drug could cause brain swelling, loss of vision, and serious risks for children injecting the hormone.
Officials said a plausible association between using puberty blockers and pseudotumor cerebri, which displays symptoms similar to a brain tumor, was identified in six young girls between the ages of 5 and 12.
“Five were undergoing treatment for central precocious puberty and one for transgender care,” FDA officials report. “The onset of pseudotumor cerebri symptoms ranged from three to 240 days after GnRH agonist initiation.”
Such symptoms in the patients included visual disturbances, headaches, and vomiting. Other effects GnRH agonists caused were an increase in blood pressure, brain swelling, and abducens neuropathy. —DailyWire

Now that we know even MORE dangers associated with the practics of flooding children with chemicals that will dramatically alter the natural course of their physical development than we already had known about, will team Biden STILL double down on this grotesque practice of normalizing the sterilization of children?

If so, even after the FDA has made this announcement, should all involved be held personally liable for any lawsuits filed by these children or their families regarding any associated harms?

The science has spoken, so to speak.

But our politicians aren’t listening to anyone but their lobbyists.
