NY Gov. Hochul Says That Rising Violent Crime Is A ‘Conspiracy Theory’ Pushed By The GOP (VIDEO)

She also said that blue states are safer than red states. Do you believe her?

New York Governor Kathy Hochul doesn’t want you to believe your lying eyes because if you do, that might hurt Democrats at the ballot box.

Remember, this is a woman who is Governor by default because her boss was a creep and has not faced the electorate for the position that she currently holds.

Failed-upward Governor Hochul appeared on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show “Politics Nation” over the weekend where she said that Republicans are “master manipulators” and that residents of Democrat-run states are safer than those in GOP-run states.

She said that the rise in crime is a “conspiracy theory” and that it’s the red states that have guns everywhere that violent crime is running rampant.

That seems like what Law YouTuber Viva Frei has coined “Confession through Projection” — she’s accusing the GOP of being “election-deniers” and “fact-deniers” when its Democrats that have done both of those things for decades.

This is a load of B.S. and she knows it.

She’s massaging the stats to fit her narrative, but crime is up all over the United States.

In September, The New York Post ran an article with the headline, “Violent crime up across US, new study reveals.” While it notes that there has been a decrease in homicide, other types of violent crime are up.

Overall violent crime across the US has jumped this year compared to 2021, even as the number of murders has dropped, a new study revealed Monday.
Major crimes such as robberies and aggravated assaults rose in the first six months of 2022 compared to the same period last year, with 236,962 incidents reported versus 226,967, according to a report by the Major Cities Chiefs Association based on a survey of 70 major police agencies…
…The biggest leaps in violent crime in the 70 agencies — which include the NYPD — were in robberies, which rose to 60,175 in the first six months of this year compared to 53,212 in 2021, and in aggravated assaults, with 156,735 reports versus 152,760.

She’s talking about “the data” when the guy she’s running against has been attacked onstage with a bladed weapon and had two teens shot on his property.

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) who is challenging Hochul in the gubernatorial race was attacked on stage when an allegedly drunk psycho tried to slash his throat with a weird bladed brass-knuckles-style weapon a few months ago and then had a shooting happen outside his home just a couple of weeks ago. Yes, those are anecdotes, but they’re pretty powerful ones. They’re especially powerful when your opponent is a crime-denier who says that crime stats are a “conspiracy theory.”

Let’s not forget that Hochul’s response to Zeldin talking about crime during their debate was, “I don’t know why that’s so important to you.”

She then says that “more” could be done and pivots to… a national ban on so-called assault weapons.

So, Kathy Hochul thinks that the main source of violent crime is from teenagers running around shooting people with AR-15s?

Viral videos spread on social media show people minding their own business and then getting clocked — often in the head — by some career criminal with a rap sheet as long as your arm, that is somehow still out and about on the streets.

Gov. Hochul can try to massage the facts all she wants, but it’s the blue dots in red states that are the problem. Democrat-run cities in Republican-led states are seeing an increase in violent crime just like the Democrat-run cities in blue states. Funnily enough, that spike in crime might have something to do with… Democrat policies that enacted in those cities like defunding the police and “woke” District Attorneys that don’t want to enforce the law.

Weird, I know.

But hey, I’m just a “master manipulator” right-winger that can’t analyze data.

If we’re lucky, the crime-denier Kathy Hochul will be a left-winger that can’t win an election.
