After Two Years Of Biden’s Broken Border, Schumer Finally Admits Their REAL Agenda

You’d think the public would wise up to this tactic. Republicans call out a Democrat agenda. Democrats denounce it as a lie. They take power and do exactly what they said they wouldn’t.

It’s the tried-and-true Democrat election formula:

Tell the people what they want to hear. Get elected. Ignore the promises and do whatever your agenda tells you to do. Blame someone else for any problems. Claim the moral high ground. Move on to the next project where the process is repeated.

In fact, if you look back at the parts of Trump’s presidency that made Democrats the most angry, it’s the areas in which he REMEMBERED his political promises and turned them into action.

History is replete with examples of this pattern. Obama’s promise you could keep your plan. Swapping ‘safe, legal, and rare’ for those tragic instances where abortion was a ‘last resort’ to the current moode of ‘shout your abortion’. And now? We’re seeing the same bait and switch with immigration.

Obama announced he didn’t have the authority to unilaterally change immigration law. But he used his ‘pen and the phone’ for the DREAMers anyway. Dems fought like hell to keep Trump from reversing it even when courts eventually confirmed Obama had acted illegally in that Executive Order.

Immigration then

Most of us on the right were already calling BS on the left when they flip-flopped on their attitude toward a wall and illegal immigration. There are many examples. Here’s just one.

This is Fox News calling out the radical flip-flop in Chuck Schumer’s position on illegal immigration between 2009 and 2018. Beginning this video clip from the 1:33 mark:

Let’s contrast that with his new announcement now that Dems won the Senate in the midterms and are swinging for the fences in the short time they have left to use their ‘mandate’ to cram a hard-left agenda down our throats that would just ‘happen’ to ‘fundamentally transform’ the country.

Here is Schumer openly admitting that he wants to give all these millions of illegal aliens (or has he warmed to the idea of ‘undocumented workers’ since 2009) full citizenship. He says 11 million ‘or however many’ because he knows full well that 11 million is the official number that’s been in circulation for some 20 years and that some 5 million or so have poured over our border since Biden took office.

Isn’t that the damnedest thing? You pay people to stay home and then you complain about worker shortages to justify filling the country with millions from around the world, without a moment’s thought even to the impact such a brain drain will have on the countries all these people are flooding in from.

A leaked 2018 memo admits this has ALWAYS been about power

The memo was sent out by former Hillary advisor Jennifer Palmieri.
The Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund memo, which circulated Monday, called on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”
The memo from the left-leaning think tank also said that protecting DACA is not only a “moral imperative” but also a “critical component” in winning elections.
“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” the memo read.
It finished, “If Democrats don’t try to do everything in their power to defend Dreamers, that will jeopardize Democrats’ electoral chances in 2018 and beyond.” — FoxNews

For all the Democrat ballyhooing that Republicans are bigots if they mention ‘Replacement Theory’, the New York Post had no trouble bringing the receipts that such a theory wasn’t a Right-wing talking point, but a LEFT wing talking point — for years.

And the larger claim that US demographic change boosts Democrats has been standard among Democrats for years. Left-liberal analysts John Judis and Ruy Teixeira made the case in their influential 2002 book “The Emerging Democratic Majority.” Civil rights attorney Steve Phillips argued similarly in his 2016 best-seller “Brown Is the New White.” Sen. Dick Durbin felt comfortable saying just last summer, “The demographics of America are not on the side of the Republican Party.”
Heck, Joe Biden in 2015 stated that, starting in 2017, “fewer than 50% of the people in America . . . will be white European stock” and adding, “that’s a source of our strength.” — NYPost, Editorial Board May 18, 2022

Strange how Schumer and now AOC just ‘happen’ to line up with the theories cited by the Post, isn’t it?

They have grand visions of orchestrating conditions favorable to a one-party state, and have the gall to call US ‘threats to democracy’?

Democrat folk heroes used to lead the charge against immigration

The evolution of the Democrat position on immigration has been breathtaking.

When Joe Biden decorated the Oval Office in 2021, a bust of Caesar Chavez was placed behind the (ir)Resolute Desk. As The Federalist explains, Chavez is seen as a folk-hero for his support of unions, but he was also one of those people Democrats would now call ‘problematic’.

What they won’t tell you is that he was also a fierce opponent of illegal immigration, which he opposed because it drove down wages for American farm workers and diminished the organizing power of their unions.
He also opposed guest-workers from Mexico, and campaigned fiercely against the Bracero program, a guest-worker scheme put in place during World War II that allowed Mexican farm workers to enter the country legally for employment on American farms and ranches. Because there was a legal way to enter the country, work, and return to one’s family in Mexico on a seasonal basis, the Bracero program helped keep illegal immigration down.
…But shutting down the braceros wasn’t enough. In the 1970s, illegal immigration was on the rise and Chavez decided to do something about it. He helped organize “wet lines” of union workers along the Arizona-Mexico border. Wet lines—a reference to “wetbacks,” a term Chavez freely used—were armed bands of union thugs that attacked Mexicans with barbed-wire-studded whips and bats when they tried to cross the border, beating and robbing them as a warning to other Mexican workers who dared defy the union.
As Chavez biographer Miriam Pawel wrote in her 2014 book, “The Crusades of Cesar Chavez: A Biography,” wet lines were part of a larger “Illegals Campaign” to find and report illegal immigrant farm workers and get them deported. But because federal authorities were often not equipped or inclined to enforce immigration laws back then, Chavez took matters into his own hands. — TheFederalist

Let’s remember WHY Chavez was so aggressively anti-immigration

Whatever you think of the issue or how he handled it, Chavez raised a real point. The people pouring over the border are not coming here to compete with people in the Beltway for cushy jobs as reporters, economists or political aides. If they were, we’d see very different stories written about the ‘undocumented workers’ — just like we saw a VERY different reaction from Martha’s Vineyard when just a few of those sweet dramers showed up in THEIR zip code.

Mostly, the would-be immigrants wind up looking for work in service industries, in the trades, and in blue-collar work.

Said differently, they are COMPETING for jobs against the most vulnerable members of our society, those who don’t necessarly have Master’s degrees or a background in computer engineering to fall back on.

There was a time when Democrats were openly opposed to illegal immigration. (Officially anyway). They even supported legislation to finish the wall. They just never got around to finishing it or upgrading it.

So long as it isn’t a REAL wall that poses a REAL impediment, they really didn’t care. And then Trump came along and messed with their formula.

Is it any wonder they fought like hell to destroy him?
