Catholic Bishop Warns, ‘Don’t Listen To This Evil Woman’ After Hillary Compares Pro-Lifers To War Criminals

Hillary bizarrely compared the pro-life position to protect babies in the womb to totalitarian Islamist regimes and Russian war criminals. One Catholic Bishop wasn’t going to let her get away with it unchallenged.
Bishop Joseph E. Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas tweeted a link to a Lifesite News article about Hillary’s disgusting comments writing, “Please, please don’t listen to this evil woman. Her lies and immorality need to be silenced for the good of humanity.”

“It’s unclear how moves to protect preborn babies from dismemberment and murder are similar to reported brutal sexual assaults by Russian soldiers, or Middle Eastern governments’ draconian prohibitions on women working outside the home, attaining an education, or going outside without a head covering,” states the LifeSite News article that Bishop Strickland shared.
Bishop Strickland was responding to Hillary appearing on Christiane Amanpour’s PBS show last Thursday claiming that women’s rights were “under attack” after the Dobbs decision by the Supreme Court which overturned Roe v. Wade.
Clinton was on the show to promote her address the next day at the Women’s Voices Summit at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was going to discuss the so-called attack on women’s rights after Dobbs.
During the segment, Clinton compared opposition to abortion to soldiers using rape as a tactic for war or the oppressive rules women must abide by in Islamic societies.
“We are also in a period of time where there is a lot of pushback and much of the progress that has been, I think, taken for granted by too many people is under attack,” Clinton said to Amanpour. “Literally under attack in places like Iran or Afghanistan or Ukraine where rape is a tactic of war, or under attacks by political and cultural forces in a country like our own when it comes to women’s health care and bodily autonomy.”
“It’s extraordinary in 2022 that this basic right of women, half the world’s population is still at risk,” Clinton added.
Alex Christy of Newsbusters posted the video clip of Hillary’s outrageous comments on Twitter.

What is she talking about?
The “trigger laws” that limit abortion in some states that went into effect after Dobbs, don’t punish women for seeking an abortion, nor do the pro-life laws that are being proposed in some red states.
In far too many cases, abortion is being used as birth control after-the-fact and the pro-life laws will have many women rethink their decision to engage in sex if they’re not ready for a child. That’s not a bad thing. Hasn’t the left been shrieking about “responsible” sex for years?
Bishop Strickland is following Catholic doctrine in his criticism of the pro-abortion position — it is anti-life and therefore an affront to God.
“Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception,” states the Catechism of the Catholic Church under the section regarding respect for human life. “Human life is sacred because from its beginning it involves the creative action of God and it remains for ever in a special relationship with the Creator, who is its sole end. God alone is the Lord of life from its beginning until its end: no one can under any circumstance claim for himself the right directly to destroy an innocent human being.”
The Catechism also states that human life “must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception” and that abortion is “gravely contrary to the moral law.”
According to Fox News, Hillary doubled down on her comments on Friday at the Women’s Voices Summit by stating that the United States is similar to Afghanistan and Sudan because of the Dobbs decision.
“It’s so shocking to think that in any way we’re related to poor Afghanistan and Sudan,” said Hillary. “But as an advanced economy as we allegedly are, on this measure, we, unfortunately, are rightly put with them.”
Both Afghanistan and Sudan ban abortion unless a woman’s life is at risk, although Sudan also makes the exception for cases of rape, which Afghanistan does not.
“This struggle is between autocracy and democracy from our country to places we can’t even believe we’re being compared to,” she added.
Bishop Strickland has also tweeted his thoughts about the vocal pro-abortion position shared by the supposedly “devoutly Catholic” politicians President Joe Biden and former Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
President Biden please stop spending our tax dollars to fund abortions around the world. You claim to be Catholic but you obviously are ignoring the basic teachings of the Catholic faith. Please make a decision to either follow Catholic teaching or stop claiming to be Catholic.

I join other bishops in voicing our dismay at President Biden’s aggressive support of abortion as he also flaunts his self-proclamation that he is a devout Catholic. A devout Catholic does not support an anti-life agenda. I pray for his stoney heart to be converted.

Thank you Deacon Fournier, the president can’t claim moral high ground when he promotes butchering the most defenseless human beings on the planet. https://t.co/25nEnEjnUe

Tragic but absolutely spot on. “Biden sees abortion as the key to retain power”. To call him Catholic is a great travesty. The weak voice of the Church fails to call this man to either renounce his Catholic faith or lead according to the truth of Jesus Christ. Tragic. https://t.co/IiPOMUinwE

I thank Pope Francis for his clear message that abortion is murder & that politicians should be treated with pastoral care. Pastoral care for Mrs Pelosi is to tell her that she should not receive the Body of Christ until she stops advocating the murder of unborn children.

He’s taken aim at the ghoulish pro-abort positions of other politicians as well.

The evil rhetoric by so-called Catholic politicians should be denounced by every bishop, priest, deacon & every faithful Catholic. Their disregard for the rights of unborn children & their support for abortion at any stage of pregnancy is a blight on our nation & a travesty.
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) May 10, 2022
The Catholic faithful are crying out for clear truth. Abortion is murder. Advocating for murder is sinful. Communion is the Body & Blood, Soul & Divinity of Jesus Christ, receiving Communion with no repentance or Confession of sin is itself sinful, no matter who you are. Truth!
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) November 7, 2021
But it isn’t just abortion, Bishop Strickland is opposing the entire culture of death in America.
These atrocities will doom our nation. Texas laws pushing death panels. New York laws celebrating abortion. Mandated vaccines that used aborted children in production. These are all evil practices that deny God as the author of life. Speak up for LIFE! https://t.co/Kr816IvvoR
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) April 17, 2021
Bishop Strickland isn’t going to stay silent about the horrific evil of abortion and sees it as his duty to speak out.
No Mr White, our nation faces a choice. Will we truly be a nation under God or will we let evil & atheistic agendas like abortion up to birth become our god? Bishops are pastors & are obligated to speak the truth. You try to shut us down but truth is truth https://t.co/S7JVbrHDkx
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) December 1, 2022
It is my duty to strongly oppose the promotion of the murder of children in abortion and reception of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist by unrepentant sinners. I can’t apologize for speaking out against this. I encourage all to study ECCLESIA DE EUCHARISTIA an encyclical from 2003.
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) October 31, 2021
He’s also been very clear that he wants those who are encouraging abortion and state funding for it to have a literal “come to Jesus” moment and repent of their sin.
Of course to be pro-life is to respect the life of even those who attack unborn children, violence is never the answer. Let us pray for the conversion of all who promote the murder of unborn children but when they speak lies we must counter with the truth.
— Bishop J. Strickland (@Bishopoftyler) December 3, 2022
So, who is the one with the moral high ground, the woman who equates pro-lifers to war criminals raping women or the Bishop advocating for life and the conversion of those who seek to destroy it?
It seems pretty clear who the good guy is here.
