Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti Sentenced To 14 MORE Years In Prison For Fraud

The lawyer that is already a guest of the government for identity theft and wire fraud is going to stay behind bars a few years longer.

Michael Avenatti rose to prominence during the Trump years when he was representing porn star, Stormy Daniels in her legal battles against then-President Donald Trump.

Avenatti was a frequent guest on cable news shows and a hands-down favorite with the #Resist crowd.

Ana Navarro, the fake Republican and blasphemous clucking hen from “The View”, once compared Avenatti to the Holy Spirit.

He was on top of the world and so ubiquitous on cable news that there was some talk about a presidential run by his fans in the Regime Media.

But Avenatti’s star began to dim in late 2018 when he was arrested for domestic violence.

Then things got really bad for him. He was exposed as a scammer when he tried to extort Nike and lawsuits started cropping up claiming he had been stealing from his clients — including Stormy Daniels.

Now, even more of Avenatti’s chickens are coming home to roost.

In a district court in Orange County on Monday Avenatti, 51, was also ordered to pay nearly $8million in restitution after admitting he secretly took settlement money paid to his clients and spent some of it to buy a private jet.
Judge James V. Selna said Avenatti’s sentence will run consecutively with the five years he is already serving for convictions in New York for an extortion scheme against Nike, and for stealing from Daniels.
Federal prosecutors in Santa Ana had asked Selna to impose a 17-and-a-half year term but Avenatti was trying to make the case that he should get six years.
He also argued, unsuccessfully, that his new sentence run concurrent with the punishment he is already serving for the New York cases.
The prosecutors also accused Avenatti of bilking clients out of $12million, one of whom was a mentally ill paraplegic on disability. He argued that the true amount his clients lost was closer to $3.8million.

The news spread quickly on social media in right-wing circles.

Don Jr., who hasn’t been much of an Avenatti fan — perhaps because the Creepy Porn Lawyer insinuated that he would be indicted — called the news the “feel good story of the day.”

Others are reacting with memes.

Even left-leaning journos like Yashir Ali noted that this guy was such a big deal on the left, if a lefty journo didn’t side with him, then they were considered pro-Trump.

CNN’s Brian Stelter, the erstwhile host of the most inaccurately named show on cable news, “Reliable Sources”, positively gushed over Avenatti in one appearance.

Poor Brian! He must be devastated!

Someone should really do a wellness check on Brian and make sure he’s okay.

At least this time if he’s busy crying all night just like he did during COVID, he doesn’t have to worry about a deadline to meet since he was canned from CNN in August.

But it wasn’t just the Eunuch Potato fangirling Avenatti, it was pretty much all of the Corporate Media.

Never forget just how much the Regime Media elevated Michael Avenatti.

The Media Research Center reported in April 2019 that Avenatti appeared on TV news programs an astounding 254 times in just one year.

“CNN was the porn lawyer’s top cable enabler with a whopping 122 appearances; MSNBC earned a close second with 108. Broadcast networks hosted the attorney a combined 24 times (ABC: 12, CBS: 7, NBC: 5), while the Fox News Channel brought up the rear with just two appearances,” according to MRC.

It would be shameful, but these hacks are incapable of shame.

And they wonder why people don’t trust them.

This kind of thing is why — the Regime Media will back a scumbag fraudster who stole his clients’ money because he was opposed to the President that they didn’t like.

They should have that association superglued to them forever and anytime they ask “Gee, why doesn’t the public trust the media?” we just point to Avenatti as we watch the downfall of the Fake News empire.
