Before someone from the company made the disastrous decision to enlist Dylan Muvaney to endorse their product — Bud Light was a thriving brand.
That endorsement — followed up by the contempt shown for their core — turned Bud Light into the absolute personification of ‘get woke go broke’. The old saw about not being able to GIVE the product away became true in this case.
Now, desperate to save their brand, Bud Light is reaching out to their traditional audience. They’re backing the tour of a comedian that the woke crowd had ‘canceled’ from SNL. The new SuperBowl ad is supposed to appeal to the traditional market they offended.
Trump sees the damage that was done to Bud Light and thinks they should be given another chance.
