The World is Peripheral to The Church

Imagine if the Church started living like God was really as big as He actually is

If the only understanding your community had about who God really is was the behavior of the people who say they follow Him, what would the average outsider think about the Triune God of the Bible?

Is he the skinny kid who gets the tar beat out of him every day after school, who clenches his fist and mutters ‘you just wait until I grow up and THEN I’ll show you’?

Or is He the King of Glory, upholding all things through the Word of His power, with a sovereign ability to raise up nations and overthrow kings without even raising a finger?

We know which of those is SUPPOSED to be the right answer. But if we’re honest, the Church isn’t really good at living that out.

This episode is here to fix that problem… and put our view both of Christ together with our relationship to Him and the world He put is in in their proper context.

If you’ve come from a faith background painting an image of hanging on by your fingernails until that final buzzer goes and Christ swoops in for the rescue, this is the message of hope that could rock your world.
