YO Dems: Canada’s PM Just Said Trump Was Right… About Pretty Much Everything
Even gloablist lefties can't deny that Trump saw the right path forward
Carney puts his election rhetoric aside and publicly admits that Trump’s plan for facing the future was the right one all along.
Right about NATO. Right about the economy. Right about working together. He was even right about enforcing the border!
This must feel like a slap in the face to all the big libs who thought Carney was going to ‘protect Canadians against Trump’s tyranny’.
It turns out, that even libs can be mugged by reality. And reality has been doing some mugging in the past few months. Trump’s hardball approach to policies almost certainly played a role in changing Carney’s tune. But so has his vision for protecting North America from hostile players (both military and economic) abroad.
Can you imagine Canada’s ‘elbows up’ PM saying ANYTHING like this just a few short months ago?

“Nostalga isn’t a strategy,” he said. We have to change with the world, he said.

All of us around this table are reinforcing our militaries and security services for the new world. But we all know there can be no security without economic prosperity, and no prosperity without resiliance. He went on to talk about energy security and critical minerals. He even went to human smuggling. Far from the figher who came to Ottawa to take down Trump, he’s practically wearing a MAGA hat at this point! Which is kinda weird for a Lib, honestly.
Trump had to duck out of the G7 early (but not before he got his trade deal with the UK signed) because he had to hit the situation room in case Iran decided to do something particularly stupid in escalating their conflict with Israel.
As a subtle flex of just how far he’s come since the day he was wiped off the internet just 4 short years ago, he sent out a TruthSocial message indicating that Tehran should evacuate.
The civilians got the message loud and clear… with images on the internet of people streaming out of the cities in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Even now, Trump is showing that he cares about the lives of the ordinary people who have no role in the decisions made by their national leaders.
Even at this late stage of the process, he’s holding out an olive branch if only they choose to cooperate with the terms Trump is offering for a non-nuclear Iran.
If past is prologue, Iran is more committed to their seething hatreds than they are to the wellbeing of even their own people.
It’s sad, really.
