SHOT Show 2013: Ted Nugent Talks NRA, NY, Obama & Piers Morgan with

Huge day for!  We got our first chance to interview the Motor City Madman Ted Nugent.
Like him or hate him, Uncle Ted is a gun-loving, deer-slaying force to be reckoned with – and when Ted talks, people listen.

Especially, when he lays down his brand of politically charged, ‘hell-raising’ Rock ‘n’ Roll rhetoric.

Preparing for the interview, we had a boatload of questions to ask the man, but given that time was limited (as one might imagine, The ‘Nuge’ is a popular individual at SHOT; kinda like Justin Bieber at a high school pep rally) we could only ask a few.

So, in light of recent events – Obama unleashing his plan to curtail gun violence, the draconian gun control bill that passed in New York, and the NRA’s unveiling of its ‘Stand and Fight’ campaign – politics dominated the discussion.

The 23 Executive Orders signed by the Imperial President Barack Obama in plain language:
    1. Require every single federal agency to divulge any and all information they have on every legal U.S. citizen to one big federally controlled database.

2 Exploit the health care system by requiring all medical information for every legal U.S. citizen to be divulged to the same one big federally controlled database. Also, all medical forms will be required to ask, “Do you own a gun? Y/N”.

3 Provides incentives (force, blackmail) to the states to divulge any and all information the states have on legal U.S. citizens to the one big federally controlled database.

    4. Requires Eric Holder, the Attorney General, to make a list of the “Good Citizens” (those who don’t own guns) and a list of the “Bad Citizens” (those who own guns), using the information from the One Big Federally Controlled Database.

    5. Permit law enforcement officers to seize your weapons without cause, and then check the One Big Federally Controlled Database to see if you are a Good Citizen or a Bad Citizen. Either way, you won’t get your weapons back.

    6. Requires ATF to inform (force, blackmail) all federally licensed gun dealers that if they want to “remain” a federally licensed gun dealers that they will be required to be an informant for the One Big Federally Controlled Database.

    7. Implement a propaganda campaign to brainwash (Eric Holder’s words) all legal U.S. citizens into believing that “good citizens” will not own guns, and that citizens who do own guns are “bad citizens”.

    8. Require all gun locks and safes to have a remote controlled locking system that is controlled by a federal department of experts, trained in the “proper” situation when a citizen can use a weapon. Upon request from a legal U.S citizen, the federally trained expert must check the One Big Federally Controlled Database before determining if the request to remotely unlock the legal U.S. citizen’s gun lock or safe is acceptable.

    9. All “Bad Citizens” will be criminally investigated using the One Big Federally Controlled Database to tract down which “Bad Citizens” have guns. Once the Criminal Investigation is complete, government law enforcement agents will confiscate all guns from the criminally investigated “Bad Citizens”.

    10. Once the Attorney General (Eric Holder) has determined who the “Good Citizens” are and who are the “Bad Citizens”, by analyzing the data from the One Big Federally Controlled Database, he will distribute the list of the “Good” and “Bad” citizens to all
federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

    11. The Imperial President will choose the most socialist, fascist, Constitution and individual rights hating, communist loving person to lead the ATF.

    12. Require school officials to interrogate all students to determine which parents have guns, and to report the findings to the One Big Federally Controlled Database. Also, permit government agents to remove from society, any “Bad Citizen” (a legal U.S. citizen defending their private property) as needed.

    13. Unrestrained authority allowing government agents to remove from society, any “Bad Citizen” (a legal U.S. citizen defending their private property) if the One Big Federally Controlled Database indicate the “Bad Citizen” (legal U.S. citizen who owns a
gun) may be a threat to the government.

    14. Authorize the Center for Disease Control to develop fictional diseases and conditions that falsely justifies the categorizing of legal U.S. citizens as either “Good Citizens” or “Bad Citizens” based solely on information from the One Big Federally
    Controlled Database.

    15. Another propaganda (brainwashing) campaign from Eric Holder promoting the “social benefits” of having “Good Citizens” snitching on the “Bad Citizens”, and to encourage the use of innovative and deceptive means when snitching on the “Bad Citizens”.

    16. Authorizes the government to ignore any part of Obama Care that provides any protection from government intrusion to any legal U.S. citizen.

    17. Notify all health care providers that they are required to ignore all laws that protect a legal U.S. citizen’s right to privacy, and to report to the government, anyone who is believed or is rumored to be, a “Bad Citizen”, based on a person refusing to answer the mandatory question “Do you own a gun? Y/N” on any required medical survey form.

    18. Mandate that all schools hire “resource officers” who will be the collection point for all information collected through student interrogation regarding whether a student’s parents own guns. All information collected will be immediately transferred to the One Big Federally Controlled Database, so the government can determine which parents are “Good Citizens” and which are “Bad Citizens”.

    19. Develop a process to detect and remove all legal U.S. citizens who refuse to submit to government control –“Bad Citizens”, before they can pervert the society of “Good
Citizens”. This process will target locations where “Bad Citizens” commonly gather – schools, churches, and including all non-government approved religious schools.

    20. Requires and clarifies that all state health organizations must comply with Medicad procedures with regard to identifying, declaring and processing of “Bad Citizens”.

    21. Final draft of rules that completely disregard the Constitution, The Bill of Rights and the Rule of Law, and which requires all dictates (Executive Orders) from the Imperial Obama Regime to be the “Law of the Land” (John Boehner’s words).

    22. Final implementation of the Imperial Dictates which will divide all legal U.S. citizens into two classes – “Good Citizens” and “Bad Citizens”, using any and all information provided from the One Big Federally Controlled Database.

    23. Implement the Imperial Obama Regime’s final propaganda campaign to notify all citizens of the United Socialist States of America that all “Good Citizens” are mentally sound and are permitted to exist, but that all “Bad Citizens” are mentally unfit for citizenship and therefore must be removed from our society.

Signed this day, in the year of the most excellent and exalted Imperial Leader,

    Barack Hussein Obama

The 1 sentence summaries might sound logical but we need to dig into the hidden details of each EO. What caught me in particular are:
      6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers. Leading to forced registration of private transfers??
      16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes. Illegally rewriting the unconstitutional law??
      17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities. Leading to violation of Patient-Doctor confidentiality??

These 3 alone are indications of a Confiscation List.

Ted (doody pants) Nugent is a real sicko.

If any one else who had done such a disrespectful act as to show up to

a draft board with sh”t filled pats for his physical would be considered insane,

but for some reason you guys hold him up like a hero.

Anyone who respects this puke is a fool.

They cal him “the motor city mad man” for good reason.

The Artful Dodger – Ted Nugent Dodged the Draft?

“Did Ted Nugent evade the draft in the 1960s by taking drugs and acting crazy?”

    • VicBailey

Being a US Marine from the 60s, I have quite a few draft doddger friends, and I say this to draft dodgers, I would rather them dodge the draft, than get drafted and be put in a foxhole next to me, I would rather have a gung ho Jarhead next to be because that draft dodger could get us ALL killed, and they have that right, lots of people are NOT fighters and that is the way it is! So DON’T FORCE SOMEONE INTO THE MILITARY when we have so mant that are GREAT fighters, that non fighter could get a lot of heroes DEAD! When I was young and dumb I had a different look about it, but now I see the error of my thoughts! But then you have people like John Kerry, that knew what the military men went through and became a TRAITOR anyway, that will NEVER BE FORGIVEN! Semper Fi.

Ted Nugent: “…the most fundamental right….”

Except for his propensity for profanity, you have to love Ted Nugent. Nevertheless, that the Second Amendment only recognizes a right is the problem! Rights are easily licensed and limited by whatever government is in power at the time (case in point, the Second Amendment right). On the other hand, god-expected responsibilities to bear arms in defense of ourselves, your family, and neighbors (such as found in 1 Timothy 5:8) remain the same regardless what the government says or does.

Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, agrees. Hear his views at

    • JJM123

Don’t confuse god given vs government given rights. Otherwise I agree with you that we are responsible for protecting ourselves, family and righteous neighbors.

      • Ted R. Weiland

JJM, thank you for your input. Please consider the possibility that “rights” are but another means by which we have been sold down the river. I hope the following proves helpful:

“The Scriptures provide no evidence of God-given (or unalienable) rights. Even life and liberty are not rights, but rather responsibilities delegated by Yahweh. Of course, rights are much more popular than responsibilities. Everyone, including homosexuals and infant murderers, demand their rights, but few are interested in fulfilling their responsibilities.

“The Puritan idea of rights and liberty was quite different from what the framers had in mind:

‘John Winthrop [first governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony] … reminded his fellow-citizens of Massachusetts that a doctrine of civil rights [as in the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights] which looked to natural or sinful man as its source and guardian [as in the Preamble] was actually
destructive of that very liberty which they were seeking to protect. True freedom can never be found in institutions which are under the direction of sinful men, but only in the redemption wrought for man by Jesus Christ. Christ, not man, is the sole source and guarantee of true liberty.’ (C. Gregg Singer, A Theological Interpretation of American History (Phillipsburg, NJ: Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Co., 1964) p. 19.)

“R.J. Rushdoony pointed out the sophistry of governments based upon freedom:

‘….[A] society which makes freedom its primary goal will lose it, because it has made, not responsibility, but freedom from responsibility, its purpose. When freedom is the basic emphasis, it is not responsible speech which is
fostered but irresponsible speech. If freedom of press is absolutized, libel will be defended finally as a privilege of freedom, and if free speech is absolutized, slander finally becomes a right. Religious liberty becomes a triumph of irreligion. Tyranny and anarchy take over. Freedom of speech, press, and religion all give way to controls, totalitarian controls. The goal must be God’s law-order, in which alone is true liberty.’ (Rousas John Rushdoony, The Institutes of Biblical Law (The Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company, 1973) p. 581.)….”

“Rights” as in such as those enumerated in the Bill of Rights are real and Biblical in our horizontal relationship with men. These are God given, inalienable rights granted by the duties and responsibilities God has given us in Scripture. Some examples are Gen. 1:26 were we are given dominion over the earth and all that is in it and “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (1st Tim. 5:8). Providing means security, food, shelter, etc, so from these passages we see our right to self defense and to bear arms, property rights and security of property etc. Everyone of our true rights can be found in Scripture like this.

Before God, in our vertical relationship what we call “rights” are necessary parts of duties and responsibilities He has given us. Yet before Him, we do have rights, but a different sort of rights. As sons of the living God and “co-heirs with Christ” (Rom. 8:17) we have the right to pension Him in prayer. We have all the covenants, birthrights, and promises we can claim as ours with the rights and privileges they include. We also have the right to lose and bind as found in:

“Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.

“Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.” Matt. 18:18-19

          • Davy Crockett

Yes, God reserves His right as Sovereign over all, but He still grants us these rights as Christians and as applicable, as immortal beings “created in His image”. So it is incorrect to say we do not have rights. We truly do, have rights as I have proven above and as our Founding Fathers intended. I do not indorse today’s state of our nation, but the foundation of this country was true

          • Ted R. Weiland

David, tell me, how the Bill of Rights can be God-given when much
of what’s contained therein is antithetical, if not hostile, to Yahweh’s morality as contained in His commandments, statutes, and judgments?

          • Davy Crockett

I see nothing in the Constitution that defies God’s Laws when understood from its original purpose. They were not trying to establish a theocracy and left it to each state and person to practice and establish Christianity. They had learned from history to not follow in the foot steps of having a state religion full of imperfect men, thus every corrupting the faith, but made it very clear for this government to function it must be filled with Christian men. They only reason you take issue is because you wish to establish a theocracy. Each right in the Bill of Rights comes from the responsibilities God has given us. Tell me which ones as Christian men should we not be doing? And to clarify, I am not dodging your question, I just don’t have time to go through the thing, especially since we agree on some of the points, its just I call them rights and duties, while you only call them duties.

          • Ted R. Weiland

Let’s begin with the First Amendment and work from there–see online Chapter 11 “Amendment 1: Government-Sanctioned Polytheism” of “Bible Law vs. the United States Constitution: The Christian Perspective” at

By the way, there’s probably twice as much material in the written chapters as there was in the audio series.

I’ll take Ted Nugent over any democrat any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

  • Jeff Shouse

I don’t agree with everything Ted Nugent says, but he clearly has more brains and a better understanding of the history of the American Republic than all of the Democrats in Congress combined.
