There is a sickening aroma in the air that is beginning to permeate the very soul of independent, freedom embracing Americans. It began to originate long before the shooting at Aurora, Colorado, or recently in Newtown, Connecticut. Its rancid fragrance seeps into the fabric of the U.S. Constitution and is emitted by the control terrorists who manipulate the facts and perceptions of Americans who watch the news. These purveyors of stricter gun control measures seek to erode your defenses so that in your weakened state you will accept their sweet smelling tyranny.

The nation that was represented as a symbolic shining city on a hill that President Ronald Reagan spoke about over 30 years ago, is now becoming a broken mud hole of shattered dreams. America’s morning that has dawned over the nation is now bearing witness to the shredding of constitutional protections which have safe guarded families since the infancy of the republic. Obama has given the order to Vice President Biden: full steam ahead to obliterate gun rights to your town. You and your family are the targets and what will you do?

We are dealing with people who have think tanks, who wargame these things. if we wait for a knock on the door, that will be the last thing that happens. THINK! Treat this like a chess game. Ask “OK, if they won’t knock on the door because I expect them to and they know I expect them to, what else will they do?”.   His “place of birth” is irrelevant and is a distraction from the truth – HE WAS ADOPTED BY LOLO SOETORO – MAKING HIM AN INDONESIAN CITIZEN AND CHANGING HIS NAME TO BARRY SOETORO.
  
  In adoption, the “original birth certificate” is destroyed and a new one issued with the adoptive parent as the “natural parent”. Thus, Barack Hussein Obama does not ever exist any more and there is no birth certificate with that name on it that identifies him.

    There is ONLY on set of circumstances that produces a U.S. natural born Citizen.
    
    That occurs ONLY when a child is born within the territorial limits of the United States to parents, both of which are U.S. Citizen at the time of the child’s birth.
    
    That’s IT, no other set of circumstances have been acknowledged since the REPEAL of the 1790 ‘an Act to establish an uniform Rule of naturalization”, which provided that a child born anywhere in the world to a married U.S. Citizen father, (making both parents U.S. Citizens).
    
    With the REPEAL of that provision the process of elimination leaves the one and only Constitutional circumstance by which a person could be born in conformity to the Constitutional form of Citizenship, a U.S. natural born Citizen, by circumstance and purpose for the distinction.
    
    So now they are after our guns since they have already stolen our ‘Citizenship HERITAGE’, (legacy birthright of U.S. Citizen parents)

Does anyone REALLY believe that these thousands, tens of thousands, hundred of thousands, of people are going out, buying rifles for more than $1000 each, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and all those “oh, so, dangerous” “high-capacity” magazines ……. just so the whore Feinstein and the Usurper Obama AND the Idiot Biden can come and take them away with neither the authority nor recompense? Many people are spending a month’s pay just to arm up – are they just going to say, “o.k., you can have them now”? The Whore Feinstein has already said that she will accept no “grandfathering” of these “assault weapons” – I, certainly, will not pay a couple thousand dollars to “NFA register” my weapons and magazines. Besides, Obama care forbids the registration of weapons, does it not? Not even the “supreme court” has the authority to “interpret” the Constitution – they are SWORN to “uphold” the Constitution …. AS WRITTEN …. otherwise, it WOULD NOT “BE” THE CONSTITUTION, would it. And,NO, the “supreme court” does not need to figure out what the Constitution and the Founders “meant” when they wrote – they all wrote many, many, other things that made their purpose perfectly CLEAR.
In order for a ‘law’ to actually BE LAW, it MUST be clearly understandable to the common man, else it is someone’s “opinion” that he is expected to obey and not the LAW itself.

I have added one more sentence to the emails or letters I send. Actually a letter sent by snail mail is more effective as many emails are just deleted by some staffer. Loads of envelopes piling up are hard to ignore. Feel free to cut and paste it into an email or preferably a snail mail letter.

  Those who argue that the Second Amendment was written just for militias are completely blown out of the water by the following quote from Thomas Jefferson.

  James Madison is credited with the writing of the “Bill of Rights” and was pretty clear about the meaning on the Second Amendment.

  Here are a few others who help define the true meaning of the Second Amendment.   Then there are politicians who insist in taking our Constitution out of context of time and original meaning. Once again, James Madison warned us against this.

  Second Amendment:
  “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be INFRINDGED.”
  Arms, in the context and time when our Constitution was written meant the usual arms carried by militia members, everyday citizens or light infantry in the Continental Army. Many of these arms were supplied by their owners for militia duty and were personal weapons initially used for hunting or home defense. They came in all types and calibers; from a 30 cal. squirrel rifle to a 75 cal. smooth bore musket, pistols and shotguns of all types, calibers and gauges. They also included a huge variety of other arms including: knives of every conceivable shape and size, bayonets and swords. Many early citizens also carried tomahawks.
  Attempts to control the type and or caliber of arms Americans’ can possess are absolutely against The Constitution and the Second Amendment as it was written and intended. By the supreme law of the land (The Constitution), an American citizen should be able to keep and bear any weapon now used individually by our light infantry soldiers.
  Larger weapons such as cannon and mortars that required more than one person to operate were considered to be “ordinance”.
  Words have meanings! If those meanings are bastardized all becomes chaos.
  Definition of to KEEP: to hold or retain in one’s possession; hold as one’s own.
  Definition of to BEAR: to carry, transmit, transport, have a characteristic of and exhibit.
  Definition of INFRINGE: to “encroach” upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another.
  THIS IS THE WORD MOST FORGETEN……INFRINGE!!!!! Read the meaning!!!
  Definition of ENCROACH…….. 1: to enter by gradual steps or by stealth into the possessions or rights of another . 2: to advance beyond the usual or proper limits
  Be honest…see anything like this going on? Everyone needs to LEARN THE English language.
  Why is this so hard to understand? The meaning of the words in the Second Amendment have not changed since the amendment was ratified.
  I am not aware of the Second Amendment being repealed or amended.
  In reference to arms control by the states; the Fourteenth Amendment Section .1. is crystal clear.
  Section. 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; (My emphasis) nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
  Many in politics and or judges cite “precedent” as a justification for the violations of our rights as contained in The Constitution of These United States of America. Precedent only describes what has been done, not if it was done in compliance with the supreme law of the land or in accordance with the oath of office to uphold The Constitution.

        If the intent was that “only” home-carry is best – then my statement stands.
        
        If the intent was that one should carry EVERYWHERE – INCLUDING all-day, in and around the home – then, yes, I did “misunderstand” and I stand corrected. However, it is not up to you to tell that there is a “misunderstanding”, that is the prerogative of the one who wrote the original statement.
        
        As it is, I may be a bit “jaded” after having known far too many from Colorado who are all for “reasonable” controls and restrictions on the Second Amendment and whether or not I can carry whatever weapons I so choose, as long as I do not “mis-use” said weapon.
        The ONLY “reasonable” controls on a pistol, are the trigger and the safety – and I’m not too sure about the safety.

        I too agree with you. There are some points I would like to make. The first is that there were several people during the Presidential campaign that insisted on carrying a hunting rifle to the event. Although, he was legally allowed to, it was still un-nessasary and made us all look like nut cases. Second, we have elected people to government that do not understand the words, Honor, Loyalty, and Justice. A prime example of this was a previous POTUS on the stand asking the questioning lawyer to define the word “is”. What I fear is that the government is going to do what they want. This was proven with Obama Care. What it is going to take is for the government stooges to knock on a door to try to take the weapons of a true American and receive the ammo first.

        Good Morning Sir from freezing Colorado, I was actually trying to be brief. Allow me to explain myself. I was trying to address the issue of stashing multiple weapons around the house as opposed to home-carry. Between the two, it is my opinion that home-carry is the better choice.
        
        Many of my students are VERY new to the idea of taking personal responsibility for their protection. And many are in the process of buying their very first weapon. The same group are tight for funds (enough so that one woman could only afford a Hi-Point as her self-defense weapon.) So the purchase of several weapons for different locations about the house is out of the question. Also, some of my students are young families, stashing loaded firearms around the house where children are present is (again, in my opinion) irresponsible.
        
        When I am teaching, I am addressing some people with many ideas that they have never thought of and home-carry is just one of them. I plant a bunch of seeds and in the questions they ask, I can see the ones that take root.
        
        I will leave you with this: We all know that the reason for carrying a pistol is so that you can fight your way to your battle rifle. Home-carry is so that you can fight your way to your home defense shotgun.

        JJ – My most sincere apologies – and I stand corrected. Thank you for taking the time to clarify your position – and I agree with you completely, not that tie intent is obvious.
        I have had a number of “Second Amendment supporters” tell me that they would never carry a weapon outside of the home, for fear that they may be mistaken for a “bad guy”, and, that I should never carry my 1911 openly … sorry, that just irritates me no end and does tend to colour my observations.
        I have no children and do not allow “untrained” children in my home without complete supervision as I also have many ‘edged’ weapons. My spouse was trained in weapons and the handling of same as soon as we started ‘dating’. If I hand someone a weapon for them to look over, I check it, hand it to them, and if THEY don’t “check it” again, that’s the last time I hand them a weapon.
        At home, I am usually wearing my 1911, and/or have my ‘back-up’ in my hip pocket – same with ‘outside’ the home.
        Once again, thank you for your clarification – and for your efforts helping others to realize their Rights and Duty to go armed. Thank you for teaching them that one must ALWAYS be armed and ready.
        And, once again, my apologies for misinterpreting your initial comment.

Question is, what will it take to get us off our butts and do what we all know is necessary–Civil War II, Second American Revolution, whatever you prefer.     GREAT composition Reggie! I have copy/pasted it to a MS Word file. It is my intention to disseminate this via an email attachment in a VIRAL fashion. I left room at the top of the first page for people to place the name of the person they send it to. You’re so right about snail mail versus email. They CANNOT “erase” a pile of envelopes in their mailbag. I’d send it CERTIFIED MAIL too. That way the people in the office would have to sign for every piece. That gives you tracking as well that shows the letter didn’t get “misplaced”.
    This is a small price to pay to keep our freedom. Time to PONY UP fellow citizens! Because once our freedom is gone, it’ll be REAL TOUGH to get it back. BLOOD may have to be spilled to do so.

    That was very refreshing.
    We have gotten to this point because we have aloud elected representatives to make laws that chip away at the constitution and the 2nd Amendment, ( federal firearms bill of 1968, Brady bill, the assault weapons ban of 1992 and so. ) We need to clean house of corrupt congress and senators. When that happens congress will not let a constitution- 2nd amendment hating Obarry like person set in the White House.
    I feel it is too late that many congressman, senators, governors and mayors who hate the constitution-2nd amendment will have to be removed by force.
    God protect America, please keep it safe and secure from a treasonist government.

Our wise forefathers who comprised the greatest document about freedom ever written, clearly recognized that we could not fight off a government who wishes to enslave us with only primitive weapons matched against guns. It naturally follows that today, it is a God given right as citizens of this country to purchase an assault rifle or what ever advanced weapon is available to protect our rights as free American citizens against a tyranical, oppressive government or anyone else who wishes to do harm to ourselves or loved ones.

The supreme court has already shredded the constitution several times. , Roe v Wade, the word” PRIVACY” never appears in the constitution one time and yet the court somehow found it was in the founding document by inference!! the text was not followed ! Obamacare. Read John Roberts” official statements and then tell me that he went by the letter of the law! I could go on but needless to say the court has the power and authority to to fit the constitution to any law they like!!! The constitution itself gives them that power, just read the part about the courts powers. it clearly says they have the power to “INTERPRET THE CONSTUTUTION” If they determine that well regulated militia means the national guard as some liberal idiots believe then that is all they need to start the confiscations!!!

    When the first shot is known, there will be an awful noise of retaliation. I’m seeing people from all walks of life readying and prepping. It is difficult for many that have lost all their resources and financial stress is a tool. That includes fuel, food and water. Just by being aware, and knowing your resources and their alternatives is very powerful. We just recieved another foot of snow. That makes 2 feet in my front yard. There has been a lot of good advice on this posting but adopt and preservere in your enviroment. Look at the large and small picture. I know a lot of people are on welfare and many are rightly recieveing help. Many more are not. I’m not worried about drones, but access to technology and what can come in the night when you are trying to rest. These poeple don’t play by the rules and it will be all or nothing.
    A real march on Washington is what it will take. The alternative is years of guerrila warefare and poverty. It was the cost before and will be so again. The care of the infirmed, the children and our women. Are you willing to pool resources to be succesful. Are you willing to stay away from home and family for a year in all weather conditions and climates? Can we adapt those to what they can do and sort out what they can’t do? It is a game and winner takes literally ALL. They’ve been playing at this with our resources for decades. I’m not saying no, I’m saying ask the hard questions, know your strengths and your weaknesses and do the same with your opposition. You can rattle sabers, but we’ll have to rattle cribs as well.

All the gum-flapping about gun confiscation is just that. The current government at all levels doesn’t have the resources to conduct such a program. For starters, they would have to begin gathering a database of all registered guns, and I would predict many FFL owners would have a mysterious epidemic of missing files. Using past such efforts to gather massive amounts of data (from my years with the intelligence services), creating the database alone would be a multi-billion-dollar enterprise that would take years.

Physically, no law enforcement branch is going to siphon off already stretched resources to start unlawful searches of otherwise law abiding citizens to find “illegal” weapons. A huge expansion of the BATF would be necessary to empower that body to undertake the mission, and I’m not so sure the effort to recruit people for the job would be very successful, given they would be working against a well armed, hostile populace.

Obama is playing this for political purposes, giving his base a “thrill up the leg”, even as he well knows any promises about tough gun control are mostly empty. However, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do everything in our power to prevent any such measures to be enacted into law, for who knows what the future may bring.

So called “Conservatives” have allowed all
of these expensive, divisive liberal polices, and departments to remain. How
come?

Unless – Solution? Well only one folks – We
need a new party, a new leader willing to deal with the facts, the truth for a
change. We need a real fiscally conservative, common sense leader/party…. Things
need to be cut, reduced and eliminated in all government. Government is too big,
intrusive, and they are accumulating too much debt, year after year after year.
That’s right let’s get cutting non essential services, expensive waste,
bilingualism, multiculturalism, phony rights departments…the charter, CBC, all
this green nonsense, bring in a government salary cap, a hiring freeze, reduce
pensions… all sorts of big government BS. The future is at stake here and no one
is willing to deal with this, how sad, how pathetic, all of you clowns in
government and mainstream media (CBC, CTV…).

The real issue that
no-one is talking about is the private sector versus government sector.
Government hiring, spending and debt is out of control and has been for decades.
This is the great divide in Canada and its getting worse
yearly.

I will defend
my Second Amendment Right even if our “leaders” will not. I abide by the
Constitution and the laws and orders it clearly defines, such as my right to
keep and bear arms. No tyrant in the name of government
will force me to give up the rights that are endowed to me by my fore-fathers.
Our leaders work for the people and by the people. Theywould be wise to remember that
and remember the oath theytook to defend and uphold the United States Constitution.
I will vote against ANYONE who votes for ANY
weapons ban of any sort and furthermore I will not comply should a weapons ban be
