Massachusetts, Remember Democrats Past! Save Our State

Just recently a child at an elementary school in Palmer, MA brought a “lego-sized” toy gun that was “not much larger than a quarter” and was threatened with detention, bus ticket, and bus suspension. According to Fox 6 News, the threats were dropped but the news article notes that the children on the bus were “traumatized” by the toy gun. Excuse me, are these children so fragile they’ve never seen a gun in a movie, TV show, or video game? They have, but parents hysterically over-dramatize and want to criminalize anything remotely related to conservatism.

It’s perfectly fine to sexualize them at an early age, but talk about the 2nd Amendment, well, that’s just not acceptable.  The Golden Rule here, kids, is cry when you don’t like something (or someone) and not only will it go away, the person who did it will be punished! Let’s face it, this kid received more punishment than most criminals in Massachusetts. People who assault, rob, and rape have more rights than a 6 year old on a school bus with a toy.

I constantly wonder how we can change the road this state is headed down. The truth is, it can’t change unless and until Massachusetts liberals take their own advice on “equality” and take a step back and see the damage they are causing their state and country.

We know the stakes are getting higher and it’s clear that this blue state has set the tone for the national scene. Liberals here are of the most vicious strain — they claim to be Kennedy Democrats when they have, in fact, evolved into a political party that Kennedy himself would have never supported. The liberals of today are not the liberals of yesterday. This state is being destroyed by a liberal agenda that rewards the non-producers on the backs of the producers.  Our Senators and Representatives are more interested in self service rather than public service  Example: John Kerry parking his yacht in Rhode Island to avoid paying Massachusetts taxes.

The Democratic Party in this state is not the Democratic Party of President Kennedy.  It’s one thing to vote along party lines but it’s another to vote for what the party used to be — and I think that concept is where we can attribute the state’s pathetic political reputation. Massachusetts can do better, plain and simple.
