James Simpson- Following World War II, practically every terrorist organization in the world, whether it be Islamist or Communist, was financed, trained, armed and advised by Soviet intelligence or one of its proxies. The opinions of other former KGB officers add further weight, especially that of Alexander Litvineko, poisoned in London with Polonium 210 after he revealed that Ayman al Zawahiri, number 2 in al Qaeda at the time, was in fact an old KGB agent who trained in the former Soviet Union.
