The current administration was not the only one to tout the Fatah part of the Palestinian Authority (PA) as moderate … but their insistence, in the face of all the facts, makes it a hateful act against our only ally in the Middle East. But I will go further … with their push for talks with the head of Fatah (Abbas), I believe it’s a crime against humanity because they know well what this group has done, and is capable of doing in the future.
And, in the face of new revolving-door talks that are coming at Obama’s duress, it’s necessary that Americans know the facts about the group being constantly lauded as moderate.
Here are the straight facts on Fatah … its Founders, the group and their current activities.
Fatah Founders:
— Founded in 1959 by Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas.
— Yasser Arafat: Lifelong terrorist whose goal was the destruction of Israel. The group he created (Palestinian Authority (PA), from its inception, was historically unique because its defining paradigm is terrorism, and whose raison d’etre is the annihilation of a sovereign state (Israel), and the extermination of its Jewish populace. The PA carries on its Founder’s goal even after his death (Woo Hoo, pardon the schadenfreude) in 2004.
–Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen): Current President of the PA. Longtime ally of Yasser Arafat. A Holocaust denier. His doctoral thesis became a book, titled, The Other Side: The Secret Relations between Nazism and the Leadership of the Zionist Movement, which denied both the extent and severity of the Nazi Holocaust. Abbas stated, “only a few hundred thousand Jews” were killed in the Holocaust and those primarily through complicity between the Nazis and the Zionists.
Fatah:
— “Fatah” in Arabic means “conquest by means of jihad [Islamic holy war].”
— Part of their core principles include: 1) The Israeli existence in Palestine is a Zionist invasion with a colonial expansive base, and it is a natural ally to colonialism and international imperialism. 2) Palestinian struggle is part and parcel of the worldwide struggle against Zionism, colonialism and international imperialism.
— Dedicated to annihilating Israel.
— Their Covenant unequivocally disavowed any interest in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, which were at that point under the control of Jordan and Egypt. In 1968, after Israel had taken control of these areas following its victory in the Six-Day War, the Covenant revised to demand the establishment of a Palestinian State on the total territory of the State of Israel.
— They have lied in the past concerning the recognition of Israel’s right to exist in order to obtain funding, training, weapons and sympathy from the West (and it’s worked every time).
— Though it calls the al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade its military wing, Fatah, is actually the military wing of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization), which morphed into the PA.
Current Activities:
— PA-TV, controlled by the PA (Palestinian Authority), continues its campaign of lies and incitement against Jews and the Jewish State. The campaign, as catalogued by Palwatch.org, includes:
— Fatah, via PA-TV, lauded two female suicide bombers who together killed 3 and wounded more than 130, as being great role models worthy of admiration.
— PA-TV broadcast and awarded an Egyptian writer of a poem that was recited by children, which included: “my enemy, Zion, is Satan with a tail.”
— The PA and Fatah held a well-attended memorial in Ramallah for terrorist Abu Sukkar, who killed 15, Abbas’ speech was read by Fatah official, Jibril Rajoub, which praised Sukkar as “the most noble among the noble … (with his death) Fatah lost a beacon”.
Based upon just these few facts … Fatah is moderate? My Aunt Fanny…
Pressuring our faithful ally, and the ONLY democracy in the Middle East, to negotiate with a complete terrorist entity (Hamas and Fatah) masquerading as a government and “peace” partner … is a betrayal of all that America represents.
But Obama’s mantra that Fatah is moderate, goes a wee bit further … because he is willfully helping disguise a devil.
