‘Divergent’ Sounds the Warning: Americans Celebrate Freedom to Choose

Over the weekend, I saw the movie, Divergent. It is an excellent and entertaining story about a false peace in society achieved by division and control.

The premise is to divide citizens by aptitude and make their chosen division loyalty stronger than any family ties. If everyone knows their place and accepts it, peace will reign.

Anyone who is mentally unable to submit to the drug induced vocational testing and has the ability to ask questions and reason is labeled “divergent,” a threat to the peace in society.

Art often imitates life and the United States is facing a trend in the direction of human mind control.

It begins with Common Core at the elementary school level and continues to adults with the media and workplace hysteria for political correctness.

We are struggling under the most divisive administration in modern history. Every word uttered is used to separate groups who have fought long and hard for equal footing. It fosters hate among the American people. By causing extreme strife and suspicion among the American People, unity and strength in numbers has little chance of survival.

If anyone has an opinion that does not suit the “largely loud left”, of course, they are a racist, a hater and should be stoned to death.

The “Largely Loud Left”, can utter any opinion of any quality or offense, and that is totally acceptable.

They are in favor of repealing the First Amendment for everyone but themselves as they are the only ones who have opinions that actually matter. They must be in charge as the majority cannot think for themselves or make any worthwhile decisions.

The goal of the “Largely Loud Left” is twofold:

One is to prove that God does not exist.

God must be eradicated from society because non-believers want to live in ways that are against biblical teaching. Family is key to the perpetuation of moral values and standards.

Christianity values morality. Those who prefer to live otherwise do not want to feel guilty by comparison. This guilt stems from knowing right from wrong, but making a conscience decision to follow a crooked, corrupted path.

Two is to prove that if we all just play nice and follow their rules for living, One World Utopia can be brought about solely by the works of man.

Once they have achieved a purely secular society, the basis for morality and values will be eliminated.

Ultimately, the non-believer wants to feel that they themselves are god. They indoctrinate the young and place fear of peer condemnation in the heart of the adult in order to change and brow beat the chance of spawning any independent thinkers.

They labor under the delusion that if everyone is in a category, people will peacefully stay in their place. There will be no vices such as envy, strife, greed etc., because free will has been eliminated. Things should be fair. All should be equal and then the world will be a better place.

This is the premise for those who advocate a one world government. There is no national pride, no tradition, no morality, no God, therefore no need to stand strong for anything.

The factor they are leaving out of the equation is that human beings are not easily controlled and free will was given to us by God.

God Himself understands our nature and allows us to make a choice between good and evil.

What makes the Left think that their domineering ways will direct humans onto the path of enlightenment and the ideal Utopian society?

Human nature can be suppressed for only so long. Fear gives way to desperation and revolution will follow.

Enough is enough. The American public has got to wake up and take back the country from the militant radicals before all of our rights are gone.
