ARE ANTI-HUNTERS RACISTS?: Emotional Anti-Hunting Policies Are Destroying Blacks In Africa
Question: What do you think would happen to a conservative white dude with a high public profile, like Ted Nugent, if he supported pro-hunting policies in Africa that openly jackhammered black people?
What if, hypothetically speaking, what he backed up directly destroyed their lands and livelihood and their entire way of life?
Not only that, but what if these policies actually pushed them off their tribal properties? What if they were shoved off their properties by dudes in helicopters and Land Rovers, at gunpoint, and then their villages were burned down?
What do you think the Anti-Hunters would call Nugent? Uh … maybe a … “racist?” I think so.
He’d probably have Al Sharpton come out and publicly condemn him with a sweaty, bombastic, James Brown-like press conference. In addition, Kanye West would do a presser claiming, “Ted, like George W. Bush, hates black people,” Rachel Maddow would devote a few segments to Nugent’s professional destruction, and Whoopie Goldberg would have a cow on The View, pointing out Ted’s unforgivable and xenophobic proclivities.
You and I both know that the Nuge’s career would be history — being doomed to live with the ignoble Scarlet Letter of “R for racist” for the rest of his life. Plus, the policies and organizations that were detrimental to blacks in Africa would be summarily crapped on and vilified for all eternity — the Anti-Hunting Leftists would make certain about that.
Yep, you can bet your ass that the Anti-Hunters would go Mach2 with their hair on fire and BBQ Nugent for being a white-Christian-conservative-male whose pro-hunting policies destroyed the black man’s world.
However, if the doe-eyed, bunny-loving, treehumper’s policies and organizations effectively shatter the black Africans’ lives, obliterating their jobs and/or driving them off their lands all for the sake of ‘saving the animals’ — it’s okay, the world and the media are okay with this. Yes, it is tough shit, black Africans … the animals are more important than your welfare and occupations.
Professional Hunter, Johan Calitz, who has spent nearly three decades conducting hunts in Botswana points out in the film, Sunset In Botswana, that the banning of elephant hunting in that one country will immediately and negatively impact his staff of 175 blacks, which he has employed for the last several years. Oh, and by the way, those 175 blacks that Calitz employed represent nearly two thousand mouths to feed that were directly dependent on the money Johan paid them for their work with his hunting clients. Also, according to Calitz, photographic safaris utilize and employ only 1/3 of the black Africans that hunting safaris use, and that’s if they even use indigenous people at all.
Here’s one more by the way: the black Botswanans Johan employed are hunters and trackers. It is their only skill. Meaning they can’t go down to Starbucks and become a barista. In other words, financially, they’re screwed. The black man is sacrificed on the altar of emotion because the Anti-Hunters got their way. Let that sink in, please.
Oh, and I forgot, (I must be getting old) Calitz is not the only professional hunter that was shut down in Botswana due to the irrational ban on elephant hunting. This means, for those who’re intellectually slow, that the numbers of blacks directly devastated by this one unscientific fact is in the 10’s of thousands.
Once again, for the sake of redundancy, if a white-conservative-pro-hunting-Christian-male would have backed some edict that would have destroyed a black person’s wherewithal, we would never hear the end of it. But the Leftist, Anti-Hunting, rabble can ruin a black person’s life and walk away from this unscathed.
In addition to those losses of livelihood amongst the poorest of the poorest blacks in Africa due to the Anti-Hunters protests, filmmaker Oliver Steeds also points out in his 2011 film, Conservation’s Dirty Secrets, that the African Wildlife Foundation didn’t give a rat’s backside about blacks, as they have effectively evicted Samburu people off their Kenyan lands and burned their villages. Again, as far as the Anti-Hunters are concerned, it is animals over blacks. Get that? It is animals over blacks.
In summation, ladies and gents who love hunting and understand that it truly conserves land and species, and employs indigenous people: the next time someone blathers about banning hunting on non-endangered animals, ask them how many frickin’ lives they’re ruining with their doe-eyed, bunny-loving, unscientific, treehumping bullshit.
