Academy award-winning actor Jon Voight has launched a seething attack on President Barack Obama in a lengthy televised statement that was addressed to the American public.
The 75-year-old was talking with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on Fox News he went on the tirade on Saturday.
The Ray Donovan star took particular aim at Benghazi, immigration, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Iraq and how the Democrats have caused the ‘breakdown of the country’.
‘Five years ago, I stated that Obama would take the country apart,’ Voight said, reading from a script.
‘Piece by piece, that he would cause a civil war in this country.
‘In hindsight, we can see how many things have come to pass.
‘My greatest heartache is that we sacrificed thousands of American heroes liberating Iraq, only for President Obama to pull out all troops, leaving Iraq now to be taken over by the terrorists.
‘What does he say about that? Nothing.’
