According to Stuart Varney, the Media Research Center reports that 88% of the mainstream media’s coverage of the Trump administration has been negative. Monica Crowley says the Democrats and the Leftist media are out to destroy the Trump presidency and Trump personally — because he is committed to reforming the government and its bureaucracies. While Trump has dominated the news since his election, the media has been totally irresponsible in exercising its duty by not providing fair and balanced coverage. Shame on them!
Last November, a majority of America voted for the Trump agenda. Unfortunately, the big-city/coastal-driven media are trying to upend President Trump’s commitment to provide jobs, truly affordable healthcare, a stronger military, improved veteran medical coverage, lower taxes, reduced government regulations, improved security, 4% GDP growth, a constitutionally oriented Supreme Court justice, etc.
The majority of patriotic Americans are fed up with the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, ABC, PBS and other Leftist oriented media outlets and networks. They are clearly abusing their constitutionally protected media-freedom, abusing their constitutionally protected freedom-of-the-press to smear-everything-Trump. Disgusting!
It seems to me that corrective action must be taken to prevent this abuse of power — Americans everywhere must speak out against them. The American people should be able to count on objective, fair and balanced reporting.
The Democrats and Leftist media are working hard to preserve the de facto Marxist/Socialist/Progressive government that Obama gave us. He doubled the national debt – borrowing more than all other presidents combined. Labor participation rate hit an all-time low. Our military declined to pre-World War II levels. Companies departed our nation. The negative trade deficit increased.
I could go on but Obama’s track record is clearly abysmal. He didn’t even help impoverished Blacks. And yet, under-informed Dems and journalists and minorities, for some reason, wanted more of the same – and still do. Puzzling!
President Obama definitely wore many of us out. Extending his de facto Marxist/Socialist/Progressivism via Hillary Clinton was unthinkable.
Frankly, Trump has accomplished more in 50 days than Obama did in eight years. The national wealth has increased by $3 trillion since his election. Jobs in February increased by 235,000. Unemployment dropped to 4.7%. American confidence is clearly increasing by the day.
The public in mainstream America like a plain-speaking, action-oriented, proven businessman – getting things done, as opposed to a narcissistic orator intent on impressing his audiences with how smart he is. Perhaps it is because Trump won a commanding majority of the 3141 counties in America. (Hillary carried dramatically less – and those were mostly in a few big cities and their suburbs.)
The American people want our nation to become great again. That effort is clearly underway via the proven leadership of President Donald J. Trump and the Republican Congress.
So . . . don’t listen to the poorly informed Dems, journalists and race-hustlers who want more centralized Leftist government control, more power, and taxpayer money to give to their constituents.
I strongly feel that our effort now should be to change the minds of the public at large. Toward that end, I forward articles and commentaries that “believers” will hopefully pass on to friends and colleagues. Once again, the mainstream media cannot be trusted to expose the failings of Leftist Socialism as promoted by many Democrats.
Everything I forward to others shouldn’t be taken as an endorsement. It isn’t — any more than a newspaper or magazine agrees with everything it reports. With my schedule, I have the luxury of perusing the net; most people are too busy making a living to do this. So, I pass on stuff to heighten awareness of what’s going around. Others in my circle of news-junkies do likewise.
Obviously, we can no longer count on the Leftist-Progressive “mainstream media” to keep us appropriately informed. So we encourage everyone to forward fair and balanced info . . . and to make aggressive use of their “delete” button to clear their inbox of stuff they’ve seen before or aren’t interested in. (I get three-hundred emails a day, most of which I clear in a few minutes in this manner.) Our goal should be to take back the AMERICAN-WAY*.
