I’m curious. Let’s say that somehow the left gets their way and Trump is impeached. Does the left think the natural result is that Hillary gets sworn in as President?
Probably.
I mean, these people are so stupid they had to be told to boo after they cheered Stephen Colbert’s announcement that James Comey had been fired.
They probably think when a President is impeached the result is that whoever was second place in the preceding election gets to take over. Chances are, not a single one of them remembers that Bill Clinton was impeached in December of 1998 and Al Gore – thank God! – didn’t assume the duties of POTUS.
Go for it. Impeach Trump. All day long. That doesn’t mean he’s going anywhere.
But let’s say Trump was impeached and required to vacate office. Mike Pence, too. Has the left realized that, in accordance with the same Constitution the left is all the sudden in lust over – that would be the Constitution the left used to tell us was written by old white slave owners with dangly things between their legs and not slits – Paul Ryan would then be President? Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) would be Vice President.
If Ryan and Hatch were somehow barred by the left from taking office, the line of succession would begin with Secretary of State Tillerson and end with John Kelly, Secretary of Homeland Security. Beyond that?
Do you kinda sorta see what I’m getting at? We’ve heard a lot from the left in the post-Comey era about a coup. What we are seeing metastasize are the makings of a pro-Hillary coup.
Hillary did after all come out as queen of “the resistance”.
We’re supposed to believe that but for James Comey and leaked emails Hillary would be President.
And we know the left is dumb as a bag of Stephen Colbert’s hair.
