VIDEO: All Hell Breaks Loose When Bro Disturbs A Quiet FL River – Internet Melts Down

Is this just an innocent video of a strange occurrence or something more sinister?

Some people on the internet saw this video and freaked out.

Maria McCormick shared a video online of her husband Scott appearing to toss a bucket of water into St. John’s River in Volusia County, which results in huge splashes just a few feet away.

She wrote:’Don’t swim in this river’.

But now her husband is under investigation by state officials for allegedly disturbing manatees in the river, after a furious online reaction.
Source: Daily Mail

She posted the video with the following caption:

‘My husband was bailing water out of our boat after a huge storm. Every time he threw the water we saw splashes in the water. I happened to be recording on one of the tosses and we saw HUGE splashes of water everywhere. We both looked at each other and said ‘I will NEVER swim in there again!’

Watch:

McCormick didn’t seem to know that the splashes were being made by manatees.

Nevertheless, her husband is being investigated for disturbing manatees which is an offense in Florida. It could carry with it a 60-day prison sentence or massive fine.

Obviously, the animal rights activists had complained about the water being tossed towards the manatees.

What do you think of this?

Should Scott McCormick be investigated?

Or was this just an innocent mistake?

Share if you think that it’s a pretty big stretch to say that throwing a bucket of water is ‘disturbing’
