President Obama may want to blame Republicans for the sequester, but even ‘Saturday Night Live‘ knows the POTUS is actually the one at fault.
In this week’s cold open, the comedy show featured Obama holding a press conference on the sequester — a topic about which he seems pretty uninformed.
“Most Americans still don’t understand what this whole sequester really means,” Jay Pharoah, as Obama, said. “I could explain it in financial terms or in human terms, but since I really have no idea about how money works, or budgets work, I’ll go with human terms instead.”
Fake Obama went on to explain that the budget cuts were even affecting the White House, forcing First Lady Michelle Obama to cut back her weekly TV show appearances from 75 to four.
