Missing the Big Picture? President Unaware of Terrorism
The families of victims have had to go so far as to file a lawsuit to retain or receive benefits as a result of injuries. Those same victims were also denied the Purple Heart because officials claimed it would affect the fairness of Hasan’s upcoming trial.
According to ABC News, “Secretary of the Army John McHugh told ABC News he was unaware of any specific complaints from the Fort Hood victims, even though he is a named defendant in the lawsuit filed last November which specifically details the plight of many of them.” (As unaware as Lois Lerner, Michael Shulman, Steve Miller, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder, and the President himself on virtually EVER matter before the administration).
Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.
In what President Obama deemed “an outrageous act,” two U.S. airmen and two civilians were wounded by a Muslim shooter in Frankfurt, Germany on March 2, 2011. Arid Uka shouted “Allah Akbar” before he opened fire on an airman, entered a bus, and continued shooting. His gun jammed and he fled, countless lives spared. He was convicted and will spend “life” in prison. That means he’ll be eligible for parole after serving as little as fifteen years. His crimes, too, were never referred to as “terrorism” by the President.
It makes it all the more puzzling that a day after it happened, the President referred to the Boston bombing as an act of terror. The speculation and rumors at that time were that it was of a domestic nature, perhaps Tea Party inspired. Is that why he was finally able to call a spade a spade?
Because no one screamed “Allahu Akbar?”
