Battle Cry for Our Day — Courtesy of The Patriot: ‘Hold the Line!’

So once again I flipped on DISH Network and what to my surprise is on (again?) Mel Gibson’s, The Patriot. The truth is, no matter where I begin watching the movie — time providing I will watch it to the end … again.
I have six or seven favorite scenes in the movie, however today an eighth scene filled me with more emotion than I’ve felt in quite a while. Toward the end of last battle scene the militia troops were retreating. They were common men — farmers – tradesmen facing a trained British army.
Mel Gibson’s character grabbed the American flag and ran forward yelling, “Hold the line!”, “Hold the line!”.
More than ever, real patriots need to “Hold the line”. With every scandal of this administration, “Hold the line!”. There is no job growth, “Hold the line!”.
Bernanke is screwing our nation by reducing the value of the American dollar, “Hold the line!”
Eric Holder is a wicked man whose justice department is championing the cause of American destruction with his best friend Barry Hussein Obama, “Hold the line!”.
President Obama made a decision to rewrite our history and proclaimed that we are not a Christian nation, “Hold the line!”.
President Obama has no college records, no birth certificate, has never had a job, yet was promoted into office by higher powers, “Hold the line!”.
President “Green Jobs” has shown nothing but failure in the area of energy. He has simply repaid big donors with the tax dollars of the American public, “Hold the line!”.
President Obama’s ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme: Allowed weapons from the U.S. to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug dealers. The ATF lost track of hundreds of firearms, many of which were used in crimes, including the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
President Obama has taken it on himself to track every phone call, email, facebook post of every American, “just in case he needs it later”. “Hold the line!”
President Obama allowed the deaths of American citizens in Benghazi with profound negligence, “Hold the line!”
President Obama’s GSA has gone wild. His General Services Administration held a conference in 2010 at the cost of $823,000 in Las Vegas where I can get a room for 49 bucks at the Luxor. “Hold the line!”
