Ed Markey: Old Dog, Same Tricks

When push comes to shove, Ed Markey is the epitome of an elitist and self-serving liberal politician that Massachusetts secretly loves and adores. Proclaiming to be Catholic but supporting abortion; claiming to be pro middle class but voting to increase his salary six times and pay less taxes on that income; Markey is a walking contradiction of himself.

Markey’s current Republican political opponent, Gabriel Gomez, is Catholic as well but contrary to Markey, is pro-life. Gomez’ adherence to religion and military service displays a certain code of conduct and religion that Markey clearly lacks. The only religion liberals have is their secular agenda. And while it’s true that Gomez has minimal political experience; I believe that it’s a man’s character, integrity, and moral fiber that determine his worth and success, not the number of years he’s done his job.

Who says experience equals efficiency or competency?  Look at our Commander in Chief; was he properly vetted?  Does anyone know what, exactly, he’s done?  Some of America’s great leaders have had marginal political and leadership experience but possessed character, integrity, and moral fortitude and that is what made them, and this country, successful. You can do a job for 37 years, but it doesn’t mean you are doing it well. Ed Markey is a prime example that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
