IRS Abuses: Why Should You Care?

And if the president didn’t actually give the direct order, then those who implemented those policies unquestionably believed they were only taking those actions which Obama wanted done.

If the powers of the IRS can be deliberately misused by the president as a political tool to unfairly punish his ideological opponents, average American citizens, then what assurances do we have that the wrong kind of political leanings might not also undermine your ability to receive a transplant or get a proper and timely diagnosis to your future illnesses?

Still not convinced?

What if the next president is a Conservative Republican?

What if he decides to use the powers of the IRS to punish those who opposed his election?

How do you feel about it now?

It matters not what political party you support; what does matter is that the IRS must exercise its fearful and overwhelming powers in an equitable and responsible manner.

And the IRS’ recent actions have shown that the power to decide one’s own health should not be entrusted to the hands of an agency that has already shown it cannot be trusted in the simple matters of one’s own taxation.

Most of all, those same abuses were responsible for driving another president from the Oval Office. The same fate should also come to Barack Obama!

Why should you care about the recent abuses of the IRS?

Perhaps you don’t really need to … just so long as the man in the White House continues to share your party affiliation.
Why worry?

After all, we would never have a president abuse the power of his office.

Here’s to your health!
