Putting Together the Puzzle Pieces in the Obama Era

Americans used to be a fiercely independent people. There was a time when most of us were what Obama calls bitter clingers. Our freedom and independence are part of what made this the greatest country on earth. People can accomplish great things when they are free.

Perhaps it is knowledge of this unique American character that has prompted Obama and his Marxist reformers to equip an unprecedented and illegal army on American soil to be used against Americans. They know that some of us won’t give up our freedom without a fight.

How can any thinking person not see the pieces of this puzzle? Rush Limbaugh says, “We’re in the midst of a coup!” Sadly, I’m afraid that, as usual, Rush is right. I hope he has an escape plan.

I grew up in a sailing family. We sailed competitively. I know the feeling of going over when there is nothing that you can do to stop it. All you can do is watch it happen and prepare for impact. Sometimes the result is violent. There is a brief moment when you know that it’s happening, but you just have to wait.

It appears that we’ve passed the tipping point for the Republic. I’m concerned that it’s too late for any election to fix this. All of the hollering and investigations in Congress won’t change anything; they ceded their authority to the executive branch years ago.

The only thing that can save this Republic is a miracle of God’s grace. But, God has a history of giving us what we ask for. I can only trust that He will take care of His own.
