The Immigration Bill: A Republican Suicide Pact

buffMarco Rubio and the other like-minded fools in the GOP foolishly believe that passing another phony amnesty bill will suddenly win the love and votes of millions of Hispanic voters across the nation.

The idea is simply rubbish.

The day after the legislation is signed into law by the president, Democrats like Chuck Schumer will immediately begin attacking Republicans for the provisions in the bill.

Republicans believe that by passing this bill, it will instantly remove this idea that the GOP hates Hispanics.
Then please allow me to share a brief history lesson with you.

It was a Republican president who freed the slaves. It was Democrats, including Al Gore’s father, who opposed voting rights for black citizens. It was only through the votes of Republicans that Civil Rights legislation ever became law in America.

Yet despite these facts, lying Democrat senators, like evil Chucky Schumer, have never stopped from routinely saying that the GOP hates black voters.

Therefore, do you suddenly think this latest round of legislation will suddenly cause Democrats in Washington and the media to stop saying that the GOP hates Hispanic voters?

The day following passage of the legislation, men like Schumer will start saying the following things to Hispanic voters about the legislation which they persuaded gullible Republicans like Marco Rubio to pass:

— Republicans are denying them the right to vote.
— Republicans are forcing them to learn English.
— Republicans don’t want them to have benefits.
— Republicans don’t want their family members to come to America.
— Republicans hate Hispanics worse than they hate black voters.

There will probably be a host of other charges that I have yet to imagine, because my mind has never been diseased enough to fathom the depths to which these Progressive opponents of liberty will stoop.

All that this legislation will serve to accomplish is to accelerate the collapse of our nation’s economy and to further complicate the innumerable problems with the implementation of Obamacare.

Another goal of Democrats for this legislation is their ultimate desire to bring about the transformation of Texas from its position as a consistently-Republican stronghold into a place where Democratic presidential candidates can finally rule, in much the same way that Reagan’s signing of the 1986 immigration bill ended California’s place as a GOP stronghold.
