Cool huh? Anyway, all the main men in show have ZZ-Top-looking beards and that’s about as deep as the plot gets. I don’t think it falls under reality TV, as the shows are scripted, but I do imagine that Duck Dynasty is how the liberals imagine all of us gun-toting,-Bible-thumping rednecks actually live. This show is good, clean fun. Pure goofing around and an entire waste of time. I love it.
Atheists have been bugged because at the end of every show the Robertson family sits around a table and prays to their Christian God before they eat dinner. How 1950’s of them! To sit around a table as a family and give thanks for all they’ve been given and then enjoy a meal together. That’s not fit for TV, but the dead girl in her panties is fine!
Anyway, if you’d like to waste some time watching the boob-tube, try Duck Dynasty. These guys are the real deal from what I can tell. I’ve heard some people complain because these grizzly looking men have “beautiful” wives. You can imagine what they say. Of course, this is from other women. They must have married for the money! Or I wonder where the first wife is? Women are rather vindictive toward other women sometimes.
Well, I found a before and after picture series of the Robertson’s before and after beards. Turns out, they’ve had these same wives forever, so the “trophy” wife theory is shot to heck.
Another cool thing about the show. Think of who hates it. Liberals, PETA, gun-control freaks, atheists, anti-capitalists, animal rights folks, people with stock in shaving equipment, people against traditional family values, anti-hunters, anyone metro, and many more enlightened individuals. So merely watching an entirely mindless show allows me to be in opposition to all of these people I love to oppose anyway. Bam. Win/Win. It’s nice to see good old fashioned mindless TV making a comeback.
